Patrick Beverley Kicks Reporter Out Of Locker For Not Subscribing To His Podcast

Last night, the Milwaukee Bucks were defeated 120-98 by the Indiana Pacers. After eliminating the Bucks, the Pacers will take on the New York Knicks in round two of the playoffs. The Bucks’ postseason run and second half of the season haven’t gone as planned. Injuries to Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard did not help the Bucks’s cause this postseason. Patrick Beverley was called upon to step up with the health of the Bucks two best players in question. Overall Beverley talked a lot of trash on the court and on social media. Furthermore, in last night’s losing effort Beverley got into a tense altercation with Pacers fans. He threw a ball at a fan’s head.

Patrick Beverley is an interesting NBA personality. Overall, he talks a big game and never really backs it up. He is a backup PG with a lot to say and now he has a podcast as a platform. After the game, in the locker room press crum, Beverley was his usual abrasive and delusional self. He stopped a reporter mid-question and asked if a journalist subscribed to his podcast. When they said they didn’t he asked them to leave immediately. Then doubled down and refused to answer questions until the reporter left the locker room. It is a wild and disrespectful move by Beverley who has a history of these types of moments.

Patrick Beverley Refuses To Anser Questions Unless Reporter Subscribes To His Podcast.

Patrick Beverley’s postgame press conference took a turn when he discovered that a certain reporter wasn’t a subscriber to his podcast. He not only told her to stop putting her microphone in his face but also asked her to leave the interview circle. ESPN reporter Malinda Adams was the unfortunate victim of Beverley’s diva act in the locker room. This incident has sparked a wave of reactions from ESPN reporters and those not affiliated, who have come to the defense of their colleague, highlighting the gravity of Beverley’s actions and the need for respect which he clearly did not show last night.

Stephen A. Smith and Kendrick Perkins could not believe Patrick Beverley’s behavior damming his actions last night. Between him throwing the ball at a fan’s head and his interactions with reporters postgame, Beverley will likely face a suspension. Although He is trying to defend himself on Twitter, it doesn’t look like that will get him out of this situation. Overall, Pat Bev is in deep trouble and has eroded any respect he had left in the NBA media.

Patrick Beverley Defends Himself After Throwing Ball At Fan

The Milwaukee Bucks fell to the Indiana Pacers last night 120-98. The Pacers eliminated the Bucks from the playoffs and will meet the New York Knicks in round 2. The Bucks have had a less-than-ideal second half of the season and playoff run. After firing their coach Adrian Griffin with a 33 – 13 record and replacing him with Doc Rivers, the Bucks finished the season 49-33. Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo failed to gel and dealt with severe injuries. Giannis did not play in the series against the Pacers due to injury, and Dame missed time with an injury coming back last night, which had no success. The Bucks’ fate was left in the hands of Patrick Beverley, and unsurprisingly, it did not go well.

Patrick Beverley got in an altercation with a fan last night during the Pacers beat down of the Bucks. Tempers flare in the NBA. It’s a common thing to be upset when you lose. Couple that with a rabid fan base and a player known for crossing the line and being too inverted in extracurriculars, and you have what took place last night. Pat Bev threw a ball at a fan after jawing back and forth. The fan threw the ball back, and Beverley and the backup PG returned it even harder than the first time.

Patrick Beverley Defens His Actions

Patrick Beverley can be seen tossing the ball into the Pacers crowd, hitting a fan in the head. The ball is gathered by another fan and tossed back normally to Beverley. Beverley then proceeds to fire the ball at the fan even harder than the first time. Pat and the fans in the section continued to exchange words after the incident. His teammates and staff restrained Pat Bev to de-escalate the situation. It’s a ridiculous moment for Pat Bev, who will more than likely face a suspension for his actions.

Patrick Beverley took to Twitter to defend himself. He says the fans exchanged words with the Bucks bench all night, and all he did was return the favor. He says he warned the fans and asked for help from arena security. Nevertheless, it’s a playoff game. Indiana is always among the most engaged crowds in the NBA, and they haven’t been to the playoffs in a decade. Fans are going to say things to players, but as long as they don’t cross certain lines, it’s fair game. Overall, Pat Bev might be trying to save himself from a suspension.

Draymond Green Sounds Off On The Lakers Potentially Firing Darvin Ham

The Los Angeles Lakers were eliminated from the NBA playoffs by the Denver Nuggets. The Lakers fell 4-1 to the Nuggets in a hard-fought but ultimately futile effort. The Defending champs were just too much for LeBron James and the Lakers. Lakers coach Darvin Ham has been getting the brunt of the blame from fans and the Lakers organization, who are reported to be likely to fire him. There are some who think the criticism of Ham is ridiculous and that the Laker’s failings are more complex. Draymond Green believes it’s foolish to look to fire Darvin Ham despite what the consensus says.

Draymond is an outspoken player on and off the court. Whatever you think of his brash personality, sometimes he speaks the truth. Green has been sitting at home since the Golden State Warriors were eliminated from postseason play and has been focusing on his podcast. Green broke down his position on the Darvin Ham situation, ultimately defending the coach. The NBA champion makes some good points.

Draymond Green Defends Darvin Ham

Draymond Green says he thinks it would be wrong for the Lakers to fire Darvin Ham. “I think it’ll be wrong to fire him… [The Lakers] roster didn’t get better than last year… Everybody will blame [him], like, ‘Oh, it’s his fault.’ Is it really?” What he says makes perfect sense. The Laker’s roster did not get better in the offseason. It was not a better team than last season, and last season, they also were in the play-in tournament. Although They did make the conference finals last season, they failed to replace certain guys. Furthermore, their new signings did not perform well, and those facts ultimately prevented them from improving.

Draymond also adds that he doesn’t see LeBron James leaving LA. He says it’s possible if an interesting situation pops up. Ultimately, outside of that happening, Green says he will probably be back in Purple and Gold. The Lakers have some big decisions to make. They have to improve this roster to maximize the talents of Lebron, who is 39 years old, and Anthony Davis. All in all, it’s going to be a long off-season of decision-making for LA.

The 76ers Are Trying To Box Knicks Fans Out Of Game 6

After Knicks fans took over Philidelphia earlier in the series, 76ers fans are fighting back. The Philadelphia 76ers, who are in danger of losing to the New York Knicks in Game 6 of the NBA Playoffs, are making preparations to make the most of their homecourt advantage. In the Sixers’ Game 4 loss to the Knicks, the Sixer’s home arena had a large volume of Knicks fans. The Sixers ownership group has bought 2,000 tickets for tonight’s game to combat Knicks fans infiltrating their home court. The ownership group will reportedly donate those seats to “first responders, health care professionals, and other local Philadelphia-based organizations.”

The 76ers survived Game 5 at Madison Square Garden thanks to some miraculous late-game heroics from Tyrese Maxey. However, the Knicks lost their chance to clinch the series due to crunch-time decision-making. Now, the Knicks look to end the series tonight. However, the Philadelphia 76ers are trying to pull out all the stops. They are trying to do everything possible to give their team the best chance to force a game 7.

In particular, star center Joel Embiid had harsh words for the environment at the Sixers’ Wells Fargo Center following the Sixers’ 97-92 loss on Sunday that dropped them to a 3-1 deficit. “I love our fans. Think it’s unfortunate, and I’m not calling them out, but it is disappointing. Obviously, you got a lot of Knicks fans, and they’re down the road,” Embiid said. “Yeah, it kind of pisses me off, especially because Philly is considered a sports town. They’ve always shown up, and I don’t think that should happen. Yeah, it’s not OK.”

The Sixers season is on the line tonight. The Knicks and 76ers series has been the most entertaining first-round matchup of the NBA playoffs. The drama and quality of every game has been phenomenal. There has been controversy and several memorable moments. The fans have been rising to the occasion, especially Knicks fans and their cohort of celebrity fans. Overall, tonight is a must-win game for the 76ers and a must-watch game for hoop-heads. Hopefully, it will be just as good as every other game in the series.

TNT Plays Kendrick Lamar’s “Euphoria” During NBA Playoffs Halftime

Los Angeles has more eyes on it than usual, which is saying something. The Lakers were just eliminated by the Denver Nuggets, the Clippers are fighting to stay alive against the Dallas Mavs, and the Compton savior, Kendrick Lamar, is duking it out with Canada’s favorite son. Some Angelinos theorized that Lamar dropped “Euphoria” at 8:24 am as a tribute to Laker Kobe Bryant, but the Drake diss was unexpectedly tied to the L.A. Clippers on May 1, when the song played during the TNT halftime show.

The halftime panel featured the usual suspects: Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal, Kenny Smith, and Ernie Johnson. Each of them weighed in on who they thought was going to take game 5 (spoilers, but Dallas prevailed) in predictable fashion. The curveball in the broadcast came when the show cut back from a commercial break and Lamar’s ferocious diss track was blaring over the speakers.

It wasn’t even the soft, melodic intro, either. The TNT halftime show was playing the third beat switch. The one where K. Dot cuts loose and calls Drake a bad father (among other things). It was the last things fan expected to hear, and the same goes for the panelists.

Kendrick Lamar’s Hardest Bars Made The Broadcast

Shaq and Kenny Smith began laughing when they heard the song. “C’mon man,” Smith noted. “Y’all putting us in the middle of the rap beef. [Now] we in the middle.” The Jet then joked that the network needed to play Drake’s “Push Ups” in order to stay neutral. The rest of Inside the broadcast went over without any beef talk, but one of the panel members actually weighed in on the Drake vs. Kendrick Lamar battle previously.

Shaq voiced concern for both artists during an episode of his podcast The Big Podcast With Shaq. “I like competition,” he admitted. “I love it, you know, because we all have egos. We all say we’re the best and the fans want you to prove it.” The NBA legend asserted that things between Drake and Kendrick Lamar would be fine as long as they kept their conflict to the music. “I just hope it don’t go into all that other stuff,” he added. “You know, ‘My crew see your crew and we start fighting and shooting and all that.’”

Given Drake and Dot’s track record, it doesn’t seem like Shaq has anything to worry about. The same goes for the rest of the TNT panel.

Vanessa Bryant Wishes Late Daughter Gigi A Happy Birthday

Gigi, the late daughter of basketball great Kobe Bryant, would have been 18 on Wednesday. In an emotional tribute, Vanessa, the wife of the basketball legend, made an emotional tribute to. Vanessa Bryant says Gigi’s life continues to inspire and touch the hearts of many people to this day. On January 26, 2020, a helicopter crash claimed the lives of nine passengers, including Kobe and Gigi. The tragedy is still unfathomable to this day. Vanessa also unveiled a special part of Kobe Bryant’s shoes that memorializes her late daughter.

Vanessa Bryant is honoring her late daughter Gianna Bryant on her birthday by releasing a new Nike Kobe 8 ‘Mambacita’ colorway on Monday. Nike says that the Mambacita Sports Foundation, a nonprofit organization founded by Vanessa to assist underprivileged young athletes, will benefit from sales of the new colorway. It is an emotional outpouring from Vanessa Bryant, who continues to stay strong through what was an unfathomable tragedy. Your support for this cause is invaluable.

Vanessa Bryant’s Emotional Tribute To Gigi

Among the montage of Gigi’s life and their memories together, Vannessa also shared a heartbreaking message to her daughter. “Happy birthday to my gorgeous girl, Gigi!” Vanessa said on Instagram. “I love you. I miss you. I’m so proud of you.” The message is heartbreaking as Vanessa ponders the decisions Gigi would face at this stage of her life, including her high school graduation and college choices. “2024 was your year,” Vanessa added. “I’m proud of the change in sports you and daddy worked so hard on. You continue to motivate me and inspire young women and girls daily.”

On January 26, 2020, a helicopter crash claimed the lives of nine passengers, including Kobe and Gigi. The tragedy still seems unreal to this day. As previously reported, the collision claimed the lives of Christina Mauser, Ara Zobayan, John Altobelli, Keri Altobelli, Alyssa Altobelli, Sarah Chester, and Payton Chester. The passengers were on their way to a basketball tournament. Kobe Bryant received a statue at the Lakers arena to honor his life and accomplishments for the Lakers. Kobe and Ggi will continue to be missed greatly.

Charles Barkley Speaks On Michael Jordan’s Son Marcus Dating Larsa Pippen

Charles Barkley is busy covering the NBA playoffs, but he stopped by Shannon Sharpe’s podcast, Club Shay Shay. The podcast is a breeding ground for viral moments and social media discourse. Barkley was asked about his old friend Michael Jordan. Barkely used to be close to Micheal, but the two of them grew apart and never reconciled as friends. Sharpe asked Barkley about Jordan’s son Marcus Jordan dating MJ’s teammate Scottie Pippen’s ex-wife Larsa. All in all, it’s safe to say Chuck isn’t a fan of the whole situation.

Marcus Jordan and Larsa Pippen have been a celebrity couple for over a year. Earlier this year, it looked like the couple had split, but they have since rekindled their romance. Marcus and Larsa appeared together on the reality TV competition show Traitors, so they are clearly trying to get the most out of their relationship. Charles Barkley is not having it. Chuck explained how bad he felt for MJ and Scottie Pippen when Shannon Sharpe asked about the situation. The Hall of Famer and NBA personality is not one to mince words, and he didn’t hold back how he felt.

Charles Barkley “Feels Bad” For Michel Jordan and Scottie Pippen

Charles Barkley doesn’t approve of Jordan’s son and Pippen’s ex-wife being involved romantically. Especially following the fallout between Scottie and MJ. “I feel bad for Michael, I feel bad for Scottie,” Chuck said to Sharpe. “That is so messy. I don’t like messy because when it’s messy, everybody has an opinion on it. And you know, the internet is not a place for messy.” Chuck brought out the fact that children are involved, which complicates matters further since they might become the target of vicious individuals on the internet. He concluded, “I just hate messy and it’s just really messy. And there are no winners, there’s only losers.”

The Inside the NBA analyst went on to say that, in his opinion, MJ and Scottie’s friendship would never be the same. The fact that they shared six NBA titles and have beefed with each other is one thing. Add on the fact that Jordan’s son is dating Pippen’s ex-wife. Chuck told Shannon that winning a championship means you’re bonded for life. Barkley said, “If I had won six championships with somebody, I would think, ‘Man, we blood brothers for life.’” Ultimately, it seems like Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan are going to be a thing for a while.

Tracy Morgan Gives Tyler Maxey The Middle Finger As He Torches Knicks

This first-round playoff game between the Philadelphia 76ers and the New York Knicks has been the most exciting. Tyler Maxey’s heroics in Madison Square Garden helped the Sixers upset the Knicks last night. Maxey went on a complete clutch time tear when the Knicks had the game won. Knicks fans were devastated as they watched their team give away the game. Now, the Knicks have to try to win the series in Philidelphia. Celebrity row was rocking all game, but the despair and anger were palpable when Tyrese Maxey brought the Sixers to Overtime. Tracy Morgan let his frustrations out on the Sixer’s point guard.

After Maxey celebrated securing Philadelphia’s season with his game-tying three-pointer at the end of regulation, comedian Tracy Morgan gave him the finger. Meanwhile, actor Ben Stiller was standing next to Morgan. A picture of the iconic moment shows the actor grinning angrily, glaring at Maxey while Morgan gives him the finger. Morgan is New York in his bones and could not cope with what transpired at the Garden.

Tracy Morgan Flashes Middle Finger At Tyrese Maxey

In the last 25 seconds of regulation, Tyrese Maxey scored seven points to help the 76ers overcome a ninety-six-point deficit. The former standout player for Kentucky concluded with nine assists and five rebounds. Tracy Morgan and everyone in Madison Square Garden could not believe what they saw. They are hoping the Knicks can wrap up the series in Philly, but basketball fans are praying for a game-7 at the Garden. Giving up a sure spot in the second round is a gut punch. Knicks would be making history if they lost game 6 and 7. Knicks fans won’t be able to cope.

The Sixers-Knicks series has been endlessly entertaining. There has been controversy, dirty plays from Joel Embiid, massive performances, and missed calls. The series has everything, and it’s not over yet. Tracy Morgan and the New York Knicks celebrity contingent better be prepared for a battle if the Sixers win game 6. Overall, we need this series to go seven games. The NBA playoffs have been great so far, and this series has been the real highlight.
