Rubi Rose Showcases Druski’s Presents For Their Two-Week Anniversary, Fans In Disbelief

Rubi Rose and Druski are either keeping up an extensive joke together or they really are dating, and fans seem more and more convinced either way. Some of them refuse to believe it for a second, while others are too busy shipping them, and Rose’s latest Instagram post from Thursday (May 2) has both sides feeling even more vindicated. She posted a video of some flowers that the comedian seems to have gifted her for their two-week anniversary, and ironically enough, people saw this as evidence both in favor of and against the idea that they’re together. You can check out some of these takes in the comments section of the post below, including the following.

“Oh they actually together I thought it was a joke,” one fan commented with crying emojis, while another replied, “Our 2 week anniversary gave it away. This is NOT a serious relationship,” along with some crying-laughing emojis. Either way, Rubi Rose and Druski are making this a very public matter, with no signs of it slowing down anytime soon. It would make sense that they would want to promote this and make it very clear on their social media one way or the other, because engagement doesn’t care if it’s reaching skeptics or staunch believers. But it also feels a bit icky and overly pessimistic to pretend like they wouldn’t be dating in the first place.

Druski’s Flowers For Rubi Rose

Furthermore, they have both kept up their usual content amid all this, so it’s clear that they’re not letting each other change them individually. Rubi Rose is still as lusted-after as ever with her thirst traps, and Druski hasn’t lost one bit of his comical charisma. Still, a lot of folks are waiting on something a bit more dense, deep, or revelatory when it comes to their fling, something that they would probably rather avoid given the current response to it. After all, it mustn’t be very nice to explain your relationship to a world tuning in that never believed you in the first place.

Regardless, Rubi Rose and Druski seem quite happy with all this, which is the most important thing to champion. They’ll continue their partnerships, streaming antics, and a whole lot more, whether it’s with or without the other. All in all, maybe unexpected relationships aren’t that different from no-brainers. Just try to focus on that in your own lives rather than assuming stuff about a celebrity couple.

“Views” By Drake Turns 8: “Still Here” Will Always Be The Legend’s Mantra

One thing about Drake is that he is always going to remain standing no matter what. Over the last month or so, that rings true, especially after Kendrick Lamar decided to choose violence on “Like That.” A lot of people feel that he is currently on top right now against everyone who checked him after his “Push Ups” response. Some have even gone as far as to say that Lamar will not be able to top him. Even if you are not the biggest fan of his, you have to admit that he always finds a way to maintain his stature in hip-hop. In fact, Drake even feels the same way on “Still Here.”

Based on what I got, it’s hard to think that He don’t hear me / Hitting like that 30 on my jersey, man, I’m gifted,” Drake raps on the now eight-year-old track. Yes, Views, the fourth studio album from The Boy, has now hit that mark today. It remains at the top in terms of first week sales numbers, raking in an absurd 852,000 copies. Additionally, it still sits firmly at 80th on the Billboard Hot 200 chart, five spots up from last week. If you do the math, it has now been somewhere on the list for 414 weeks.

Relisten To “Still Here” By Drake

Furthermore, it is one of eight Drake projects to still be on somewhere on the chart. He might really be remembered as the Iron Man of hip-hop for the reasons we mentioned, but also for how his albums seem to always stand the test of time. His ability to craft easily accessible rap and pop crossovers are not skills that everyone has. He truly is the Michael Jackson of the genre.

What are your thoughts on “Still Here” by Drake? Is this the best song from Views, why or why not? Where do you rank this album amongst the rest of his discography and why? What songs do you revisit the most? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Drake. Finally, stay with us for everything else going on around the music world.

Quotable Lyrics:

Girls all in my bed and they don’t trip off first impressions
Girls all in your bed and they just ask a hundred questions
I can’t f*** with you no more cause you be actin’ extra
Do your favorite rapper like my son, like my son though
Nothing mutual about my funds, ’bout my funds though
All you n****s fightin’ over crumbs, where the bread at?

Nas To Bring Illmatic Overseas In October

Of course, Nas’ European and UK-based fans can’t wait to catch him live and are sounding off online. His fans located elsewhere, on the other hand, are feeling a bit left out. Luckily, he does have a few performances scheduled in the U.S. before embarking on the tour. He’s scheduled to take on Vegas’ Lovers & Friends festival next month before gracing the stage at The Roots Picnic in June. Nas is also slated to perform in Albany, NY, and Morrison, CO before heading to Europe.

While Nas’ upcoming tour of Europe and the UK is certainly exciting, it’s far from the only thing leaving his listeners impressed as of late. Early this morning, he teamed up with DJ Premier to drop a brand new track called “Define My Name,” following almost a week of teasing. What do you think of Nas announcing a UK/European tour to celebrate the 30th anniversary of his debut studio album, Illmatic? Will you be catching the hitmaker live? DMX Death Anniversary: Ruff Ryders Honour Late Rapper At His Gravesite

One of the hardest parts about being a hip-hop head is the number of casualties listeners witness in comparison to other genres of music. Gun violence has taken far too many talented lyricists before their time, and the same is true of drug overdoses. The latter is what caused DMX to pass away when he was only 50 years old on April 9, 2021. Though it’s now been three years since his departure, those closest to the multi-talent continue to celebrate him, particularly when the anniversary of his passing comes around.

As HipHopDX reports, in 2024 the crew at Ruff Ryders Entertainment are doing their part to remember DMX. On Tuesday afternoon they shared content from their trip to the fallen star’s gravesite in Yonkers’ Oakland Cemetery where they reflected on some of the New York native’s best moments. “Let’s give it to X because he stayed true to himself and he never sold out,” one person says in the video below.

DMX’s Legacy Lives On Past His Untimely Death

“He kept it real till the casket dropped, y’know what I’m saying? You don’t get real cats like that, that represent from the beginning to the end,” they further praised the “Where The Hood At” hitmaker. In 2023, the same group of Ruff Ryders hosted a “Ryde Out” event to commemorate their friend, and we’re curious to see what other creative ways they’ll find to keep his torch lit going forward. Thankfully, X had a large family who can help them brainstorm ideas for years to come.

DMX may no longer be with us in body, but his spirit certainly lives on through his seventeen children. One of them, Exodus, recently took part in the “of course” TikTok trend, letting the world know just how similar he and his late father are. Check that wholesome moment out at the link below, and tap back in with HNHH later for more pop culture/music news updates.

Cardi B Celebrates “Invasion Of Privacy” Turning 6 Years Old, Teases New Album This Year

Six years ago, on April 6, Cardi B dropped her debut studio album Invasion Of Privacy, and it was an instant massive hit. Bolstered by fiery and beloved singles like “Bodak Yellow,” the album cinched a No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart, nabbed Best Rap Album at the 2019 Grammys, and had plenty of great songs to hold fans over. We mention that because it’s been radio silent from her on the full-length front since that release, although she’s promised that this will change very soon. Moreover, the Bronx rapper took to her Instagram Story on Saturday (April 6) to celebrate the occasion and double down on the promise of a new project in 2024.

“6 years ago I released my first album and it broke so many records GAH LEE!!” Cardi B expressed on the social media platform about Invasion Of Privacy‘s six-year anniversary. “6 years later I’m preparing to drop the next one this year.. it’s so different from what everyone is expecting and I’m sooo excited. Love you guys and thank you for the support! I’ll talk to ya soon I been so busy these last few days [red heart emojis].”

Cardi B Reflects On 6-Year Anniversary Of Invasion Of Privacy: Read

Furthermore, Cardi B has been relatively quiet online when it comes to her fan interactions, although there was some recent drama brewing in her mentions. A conversation around racial ambiguity roped content creator Raymonté in this time around, and this recent instance reflects a larger debate around Black and Latine communities. Specifically, she took issue with so many people not only misrepresenting her Latin American roots, but invalidating them in the face of other heritages. It’s a complex conversation with a lot of gray area, and one that is much larger than any one artist.

However, the good news is that this also resulted in a surprising confirmation for some fans: Bardi and Nicki Minaj loyalist Ice Spice are actually on good terms. They bonded over their Dominican heritage in this case and shut down any and all beef rumors between them. Hopefully these conflict lines can become clearer (and less frequently drawn) within the rap world in the near future. For more news and the latest updates on Cardi B and her next moves, stay posted on HNHH.

Kanye West Celebrates Beanie Sigel’s “The Truth” Anniversary With Kind Message: Watch

Kanye West has certainly kept himself busy lately as he gears up to unveil the second volume of his joint project with Ty Dolla Sign, Vultures 2. Amid promoting the album, roaming around Paris with Bianca Censori, and more, the Chicago MC still found the time to share a special message for his former Roc-A-Fella labelmate, Beanie Sigel. Sigel shared the clip of Ye’s kind words on his official Instagram account earlier this week, noting how the kind nod solidified his position in the world of hip-hop.

Late last month, Beanie’s 2000 debut album The Truth turned 25 years old. The hitmaker himself is also nearing his 50th birthday, March 8, the same day as Ye and Ty’s scheduled drop. “Yo, this is Yeezy, shout out to Beanie Sigel,” Ye says in the clip. “Happy birthday, happy anniversary to The Truth. Sorry, I’m a little bit tired, I just got off the plane from Paris.”

Kanye West Wishes Beanie Sigel A Happy Birthday

“This Friday celebrating 25 years of history,” Sigel captioned the clip. “I’m in them books for real, love it or hate it, can’t be erased or duplicated…” The Philly-born rapper isn’t the only person Ye’s shown support for in recent days, however. Earlier this week, UK-based artist James Blake made headlines for sharing his take on the current state of the industry. Ye, along with various other stars like Tyler, The Creator, Metro Boomin, and more co-signed his message.

“If we want quality music somebody is gonna have to pay for it. Streaming services don’t pay properly, labels want a bigger cut than ever and just sit and wait for you to go viral, TikTok doesn’t pay properly, and touring is getting prohibitively expensive for most artists. The brainwashing worked and now people think music is free,” Blake said in a statement that was later shared on Ye’s IG page. What do you think of Kanye West showing love to Beanie Sigel amid the 25th anniversary of The Truth? What about his birthday wishes? Chrisean Rock Celebrates 5-Month Anniversary Of Son’s Birth

Chrisean Rock celebrated the five-month anniversary of her son’s birthday on her Instagram Story, Saturday. In doing so, she shared a selfie of herself holding onto her son with the caption: “Happy 5 months papa.” The post comes as the child’s father, Blueface, remains in jail for violating his probation relating to a 2021 assault case, last month. He’s expected to remain behind bars until July.

Exactly what led to Blueface violating his probation is unclear; however, his mother, Karlissa Saffold, has put the blame on Rock and Jaidyn Alexis. “Jaidyn got him one charge, Rock got him the one that violated the other,” she wrote on Instagram after he turned himself in.

Isaiah Rashad And Spotify Team Up To Bring Four Live Versions Of “Cilvia Demo” For Its 10th Anniversary

Isaiah Rashad is one of the more celebrated/underrated rappers from the last 15 years or so. The Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE) signee has been dropping wavy, low-key bangers since 2014 and has worked with some of the premier talents. He does not drop too often, sadly. Rashad’s last full release came all the way back in 2021 with The House Is Burning. Only his third project, the Chattanooga native recruited heavy hitters Lil Uzi Vert, Duke Deuce, Smino, Jay Rock, and more.

While it is a big album and a solid release, his first might be his best. That would be Cilvia Demo put out in 2014. Rashad dropped the project nearly 10 years ago to the day, January 28. To commemorate this amazing achievement streaming giant Spotify collaborated with him to revive his classic. The reason they wanted to do this is because of the DSP’s new series.
