“Family Ties” was released on August 27, 2021, by Columbia Records and pgLang. “All the Stars” was released on January 4, 2018, as the lead single to the soundtrack album of the film Black Panther. It was co-written by Lamar and former label-mate SZA. Sounwave and Al Shux also produced the song. Ryan Coogler, the Black Panther director, hand-picked Lamar to produce the soundtrack.

Moreover, “All The Stars” received numerous accolades and nominations, including Best Original Song at the 76th Golden Globe and 91sAcademy Awards. The song “Alright” is a fan favorite in Lamar’s discography thanks to its messages of hope amid struggle. It was released as To Pimp a Butterfly’s fourth radio single on June 30, 2015. Pharrell Williams is also credited for the production of the record. The song was primarily associated with the Black Lives Matter movement after several youth-led protests were heard chanting the chorus. It was officially dubbed the Black Lives Matter soundtrack because of this. Additionally, “Alright” received numerous accolades, including four nominations at the 58th Grammy Awards: Song of the Year, Best Music Video, Best Rap Performance, and Best Rap Song. “King Kunta” (2015)

“King Kunta” is a single from Kendrick Lamar’s third album, To Pimp a Butterfly. It was released as the album’s third single on March 24, 2015. Lamar also co-wrote the song with producer Thundercat. Terrace Martin, Michael Kuhle, and Sounwave served as producers. The song’s title references the rebellious enslaved man Kunta Kinte from the novel Roots: The Saga of an American Family. “King Kunta” has been certified Platinum by the RIAA in the United States.

“Control” – Big Sean ft. Kendrick Lamar & Jay Electronica (2013)

“Control” is a song by Detroit emcee Big Sean. It features guest vocals from Kendrick Lamar and Jay Electronica. Lamar’s verse was labeled as a “wake-up call” for hip-hop, both for his skill as a rapper and for calling out multiple fellow rappers by name. The song was initially intended to be included in Big Sean’s second studio album Hall of Fame. However, this was ultimately hindered by sample clearances.

Jamie Foxx Still Hospitalized In Atlanta

Last week, Jamie Foxx was on the set of his new Netflix movie, Back In Action. Now, he seems to be indefinitely hospitalized as doctor’s look for answers. There has been no shortage of drama on the film set, even without Foxx being hospitalized. The actor had recently been scammed by someone on the crew. He also reportedly had a meltdown on set. The hospitalization due to an undisclosed “medical complication” was the latest in a long line of bad luck for the actor.

Foxx’s daughter, Corinne, broke the news in an Instagram post. “We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced [a] medical complication yesterday,” she began, “Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery.” This is good news for Foxx, who seemed to be in great health until now. According to a TMZ “source,” the situation was far more grave than the actor’s daughter made it out to be. “We’re told his condition was serious enough that Jamie’s family — some of whom were not in town — came to the hospital,” they said. “He’s communicating now, and that’s good news.”

Foxx Is Undergoing Tests

Jamie Foxx is still in the hospital in Atlanta, receiving medical care and undergoing tests, almost a week after he encountered a health issue that led to the suspension of filming for his upcoming movie Back in Action. According to a source who spoke to People on Monday, doctors are currently investigating the cause of the problem. A separate insider had previously informed CNN three days earlier that the 55-year-old actor, known for his roles in Ray and Django Unchained, was being closely monitored by medical experts as they continued to determine the exact nature of the issue.

Production on Foxx’s new movie was halted on Wednesday due to his condition. However, it resumed the next day in his absence, with his stunt double photographed on set. The upcoming movie also stars Cameron Diaz, who Foxx convinced to return to Hollywood. She had previously retired from acting, and had spent eight years out of the limelight. In a recent interview with People, Nick Cannon revealed that he wouldn’t want to house his 12 kids under the same roof. Of course, that sounds like a logistical nightmare to begin with, but maybe some fans take that to mean he doesn’t care enough to bother. However, in his breakdown of his take, he explained that it would be more self-serving for him than anything else. Given that he recently raised some eyebrows for forgetting his daughter Onyx’s name, maybe this is also a reflection of him not wanting to spread his time too thin. Still, it’s quite an interesting reflection from someone who seemingly would rather put in extra work on his end to connect with his children.

“Only person that would benefit from having everyone in the Sam Rosa would probabaly be me,” Nick Cannon expressed to the publication. “I actually love stepping into their world– going to their sports games or giving them their personal time for the holidays. So I have no problem with bouncing around. It works to be able to take the time trying to go to them and show the value of being with them and not forcing anyone to come to me.”

Now it looks like the team could be without Morant for a pivotal Game 2. NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski went on NBA on ESPN Monday to discuss Morant’s availability for Game 2. Woj stated there is significant doubt that the Grizzlies will be without their biggest star.

Losing Morant will be a fatal blow to any Grizzlies playoff run. The team is already dealing with injuries to Steven Adams and Brandon Clarke. Losing Morant could all but be the end of the Grizzlies season. Memphis has had a phenomenal season, with Morant leading the charge. One has to think Morant will give it everything he has to return this series. However, the organization also has to look at the future of the franchise in regard to Morant’s injury.

Ja Morant’s Absence Could Spell The End Of Memphis

Unfortunately for the Grizzlies, the Lakers have been one of the trendy teams heading into the playoffs. The Lakers are finally healthy enough to put the rest of the Western Conference on notice. But even the Lakers are weary of future injuries. Lakers star Anthony Davis injured his arm on Sunday. The injury had Davis telling the Lakers medical staff that he couldn’t feel his arms. However, Davis returned to the lineup and delivered for his team when he needed it the most. But the fear still remains if the Lakers can stay healthy.

The city of Memphis will be on round-the-clock surveillance on any news regarding Morant’s injury. But the Grizzlies will have to begin focusing on trying to even the series with the Lakers. Memphis may even need to think about how they will go about the series without Morant. Morant’s loss will shake up the entire playoff picture. But that’s not the Lakers problem. Lil Uzi Vert has been going through some pretty big changes recently. Last year, the rapper announced that they had adopted they/them pronouns. Soon after, Uzi dropped their EP, Red+White. The EP features a song called “Glock In My Purse,” further hinting at the new non-binary route the rapper had taken. Uzi also announced that they are a “sober man.” The rapper took to their social media to let people know about the new development. “Kids, it’s real good to be sober,” they said.

Lil Uzi Vert may be celebrating their sobriety, but that doesn’t mean they’ve stopped their odd antics. The rapper has also made quite a few physical changes. Most notably, they got six new facial piercings recently. They also debuted a new hairstyle, which was reminiscent of many punk looks of years gone by. The rapper had also initially showed off a diamond implant that they had gotten in their forehead. It has since been removed. In a new permanent addition, however, Uzi has gotten a tongue tattoo. Not Everyone Is Feeling The New Uzi

While in Thailand, Uzi has kept very busy. From performing to posting videos of eating cockroaches, you can always expect the unexpected when it comes to Uzi. That includes the introduction of a new alter-ego that the rapper has dubbed “Leslie.” In a post about their Thailand trip, Uzi included a picture with a new hairstyle and the caption “Leslie was in Thailand.” The hair looks like a myspace scene kid from 2007. The rapper looks extremely happy in the post, but their new looks and alter-ego aren’t really sitting right with everyone.

Both Nicki Minaj and Karlae have taken to Instagram to poke fun at Uzi for their new alter-ego’s look. Nicki’s joke was fairly harmless, simply pointing out how much the hairstyle looked like a version of hers from the “Bedrock” video. “She said I can make your bed rock,” Nicki posted on her story along with a side by side of her hair in the video and Uzi’s new look. Karlae simply commented on a post about the new alter-ego with a bunch of laughing emojis. Neither case seems to be malicious, but some people felt the need to clap back, particularly at Karlae. They’re one of the most successful, famous families to grace the entertainment industry. However, are the Kardashian-Jenners already “canceled” due to changing pop culture tides and ongoing dramas?

In 2007, KUWTK first aired on TV, shooting the family to fame. The reality show on the lives of Kim, Kourtney, Khloé, Kendall, Kylie, Rob, and their “momager” Kris Jenner, was a hit. However, Kim’s leaked sex tape with Ray J, her then-boyfriend, made her infamous even before the show aired. Marriages, divorces, cheating scandals, high-profile relationships, and lucrative business ventures keep the brood in the spotlight.

Over the years, the family built up their empire even more. They started various side deals, including Kim’s KKW Beauty and Skims, Khloé’s Good American denim line, and Kylie’s company, Kylie Cosmetics, rumored to have made her a billionaire, though that was disputed. One of the most recent dramas is the whiplash-inducing 2023 Met Gala invite scandal. The entire family was declared “banned” by Page Six. The outlet reversed its claim just days later and said Kim was in. But can the Kardashian-Jenners, a family whose very foundation is pop culture, indeed be “canceled”? Their ability to bounce back from controversies is admirable. Even more, maintaining a stronghold of public attention is a testament to their resilience and adaptability. As they pivot their brands to accommodate changing societal values, they still possess the potential to remain relevant.

Take Kim’s foray into criminal justice reform, for example. Her efforts to free Alice Marie Johnson from a life sentence are impressive. Also, her pursuit of a law degree is a new side of the reality star we haven’t seen. Similarly, Kendall’s recent activism, including her support for the Black Lives Matter movement, seems legit to some. Yet, to others, it’s just more family finessing.

However, with a family routinely caught out for stealing ideas, lying, arguing, and outright faking drama for PR, who knows? Kardashian-Jenners must maintain this momentum and show genuine growth and accountability if they want to reclaim trust. Their controversies extend beyond those mentioned above. Remember Rob Kardashian’s up-and-down relationship with Blac Chyna? Even worse, their reality show Rob & Chyna and their public and messy breakup.

Further, Kylie Jenner initially denied using lip fillers, fueling rumors and criticism on social media. She eventually admitted to having lip fillers, but the incident raised questions about the family’s honesty and transparency. Additionally, Kendall and Kylie faced backlash for their “vintage” T-shirt line. The two youngest of the clan superimposed their images over iconic musicians, including Tupac, Biggie, and Pink Floyd. The outrage was fast and real. The entire line was pulled, and the sisters quickly apologized, but the damage to their reputation was already done.

Are The Recent Family Changes Sincere Or More Of The Same?
