Antonio Brown is staying at the top of the headlines this week. Earlier this week, Brown discussed his final appearance in the NFL. A game that saw the former Pro Bowler take off his pads and leave the sidelines early. Brown claimed that there were many variables that went into his decision to quit in the middle of the game. However, over the weekend, it seems Brown found himself in another sticky situation. According to TMZ, Brown was seen in a heated debate with a security guard during a National Arena League game.
The incident began when Brown made his way onto the field during the Albany Empire’s opening game. Brown was asked to leave the field by security. However, the former Steelers receiver didn’t seem to like the decision made by security. In video clips, Brown is seen becoming aggravated with security asking him to leave the field. But according to some at the event, Brown was a great ambassador for the game. Including taking photos and signing autographs for the fans. Check out a clip from the incident below.
In the clip, you can hear Brown tell security to “make me get off,” in referencing him leaving the field. As Brown was walking off the field, he made time for all the fans in attendance. Including greeting fans who were waiting for him on the sidelines. However, Brown’s past behaviors have some questioning what the former NFL star’s intentions were on the field. However, it does seem like the league, and Brown has quickly moved on past the incident from this past weekend.
Brown was last seen in the league in 2021. The now-viral moment of him leaving the field in New York will be the last memory Brown makes in his playing career. Some may want to see the bad guys get away, and some don’t. In Inside Man, Washington was up against a criminal mastermind he was no match for. It’s safe to say that Washington is comfortable portraying a police officer. However, this time, he isn’t dirty. Also, he once again works with director Spike Lee. This is their fourth movie together as they have collaborated on Mo’ Better Blues, Malcolm X, and He Got Game. This might be their best one yet.
7. Philadelphia (1993)
Denzel Washington and Tom Hanks joined forces early in their career. Long before they became the men they are today, the two starred in Philadelphia. Hanks plays a gay man suing his employer for firing him because he has AIDS. Washington portrays his lawyer, who was initially unwilling to take the case. This is one of the first big-screen Hollywood films to shed light on many certain shunned issues. Philadelphia touched on LGBTQ issues, HIV/AIDS epidemic, and discrimination.
6. Training Day (2001)
Training Day might be Denzel’s most popular role. Everyone remembers Alonzo screaming, “King Kong ain’t got s*** on me!” Time and time again, Washington proves that there isn’t a role he can’t conquer. Playing a dirty cop, you hated him and were relieved when he was murdered. Washington made you feel a way with this role, as many people will always discuss Training Day when discussing the actor’s career. The two main actors in the film, Washington and Ethan Hawke, won Oscars for Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor, respectively.
5. American Gangster (2007)
There is not a role that Denzel Washington can’t play. Whether he’s a fighter, pilot, coach, or cop, Washington makes it look effortless. He does it again in American Gangster as he plays notorious Harlem crime boss Frank Lucas. In another biopic for Washington, he embodies Lucas. It’s almost as if the characters and the setting aren’t new to him. After all, he is from New York, so he may be familiar with tales of Lucas’s street life moves.
4. Glory (1989)
In 1989, Denzel received his first Oscar for his role in Glory. He won Best Supporting Actor for his role as Private Silas Trip. In Glory, the film focuses on Black men’s contributions to the Civil War. It was one of the first big-screen Hollywood movies to shed light on Black soldiers then. This was just the beginning for Washington.
3. Malcolm X (1992)
The way Denzel portrays real people is unmatched. In Malcolm X, he acts and narrates the story of the late-great activist. From the slick back hair to the speech, Washington makes for the splitting image of Malcolm. With Denzel portraying one of the most influential figures in history, he may have had similar views to Malcolm. The film earned Washington an Oscar nomination.
2. Fences (2016)
Decades later and he still knows how to give life to a character. In 2016, Denzel shone as Troy in Fences, with Viola Davis playing Rose, his wife. The film received several nominations and took home a few awards. In fact, Washington himself won a Tony Award for Best Leading Actor in a Play. Fences was originally a play that first opened in 1985. It was revived in 2010 on Broadway. Washington and Davis starred in the play as well. Washington also won Outstanding Actor in a Leading Role in a Motion Picture for the film.

Denzel Washington simply excelled as Coach Herman Boone in Remember the Titans. Based on a true story, Washington embodies Coach Boone’s hard-nosed leadership attributes. It’s easy to get sucked into this film as you might even believe Washington really coaches high school football or has before. Remember the Titans is easily one of the best sports films ever. A movie about a team coming together during the time of segregation is powerful to see. Washington leads the way with an all-time performance.

The Athletic recently took an anonymous player poll around the league. The range of topics was from best fan base to worst fan base, to even who is the most overrated player in the league. Calling someone overrated is a statement that carries a lot of weight. However, calling someone overrated without repercussions may be a little easier. On the topic of the most overrated player in the game, one name earned the most votes. That name belongs to Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young.

Young took home the crown of most overrated, an award I’d assume makes him proud. However, there were other big names that received votes in the category. The first stunner would be Damian Lillard. Lillard grabbed nearly 4% of the vote in a category he doesn’t belong in. Dame has long been highly regarded as one of the best to play the game. But for some, those praises may not state the case of who he is as a player. The list is bound to ruffle a few feathers. Including Green, who may not be the best at holding back his feelings.
It is strange that everyone aside from Lillard on this list at least qualified for the play-in tournament this season. Maybe the anonymous voters all played on teams that are currently sitting at home. Whatever the case may be, Young has bigger fish to fry. The Hawks have the huge challenge of trying to take down the Boston Celtics in the first round of the playoffs. So, maybe this is the bulletin board material Young needs. The baby mother in question is Drew Valentina, who is an Instagram model. Reports about this 11th child circulated months ago, at the end of 2022. The speculation concerning the child was brought up when Valentina took to her IG with the caption, “thank u for choosing me to be your mommy.” As you will see, the vast majority of the comments have to do with NBA YoungBoy. Moreover, in Valentina’s last few posts, she no longer has a baby bump, which suggests that she has, indeed, had the child.
Various facts surrounding the baby are still unknown, such as the name and gender. However, YoungBoy tends to be a private person, so it makes sense that he has yet to reveal these details. Consequence has taken to social media to clarify his recent comments on Q-Tip doing the “shadiest shit ever.” He had been referring to the legendary A Tribe Called Quest rapper signing with Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music back in the day during an interview with VladTV. Cons says that his comments made it appear as if he still holds a grudge against Q-Tip, but that isn’t the case. He also previewed an upcoming collaboration between the two of them titled, “Good Luck With That.”
“Vlad did a great job, but as a prerequisite, when I did the interview, he asked me could we go through my whole career,” Cons began in a video he posted last Friday. “And so, we just kind of chronologically went through each chamber so in particular with Q-Tip, I wanna just clarify a couple things. When I said, ‘the shadiest thing he ever…’ whatever, that was just due to the fact that I was just thinking about that time period.”

He continued: “Right now me and Q-Tip – we good, everything cool. I spoke to him not too long ago. This week is his birthday, my birthday is this Monday coming up. We usually celebrate our birthdays together but he been busy, I been busy but definitely I wanna say happy birthday to Q-Tip.”
From there, Cons took the time to “fill in a couple blanks.” He explained: “Number one, you know I did ‘The Chase Pt. 2’ – Q-Tip made sure I got paid. He also gave me access to Violator Management. I was dealing with Keisha Harris. Keisha Harris plugged me with Dino Delvaille who did the Cash Money deal eventually. He was A&Ring for Jeru The Damaja and he started managing me. After we linked up, being that he was dealing with Gang Starr and Preemo’s from Texas – there was a guy from Texas who was like the white version of Preemo. His name was Overtime. Me and Overtime connected, we started working on joints. We hit a little wall tryna shop them because everybody was like, ‘Yo you Q-Tip cousin and he should be the one tryna get you a deal.”
“So I had to have a heart to heart with Tip,” he added. “Tip got on board, we did this joint called ‘Living It Up’ and it was a joint. Unfortunately that’s one of the records that we lost in the fire at his crib. So, it was a few things that led to him shopping me to Puff but nonetheless, he did it and that’s when I wound up joining Tribe.”
He concluded by hinting at putting out a new album in the near future. “Me and Q-Tip celebrate our birthdays a week apart – he’s April 10, I’m April 17. I’m in a great space right now, I have no venom or vitriol for anybody,” he said. “I’m looking forward to putting out this new album and actually, me and Q-Tip got a joint.
