Dreamville’s Ibrahim H. Details J. Cole’s Infamous Incident With Diddy

Ibrahim “IB” Hamad, longtime manager for J. Cole, detailed the infamous fight between Cole and Diddy, during a new interview on the Say Less podcast.

“The Puff story… I just remember hearing about it and laughing,” he said during the interview. “Cause I was there.”

He continued: “I’m not gonna go into detail, but it’s definitely not what people are saying. It was definitely not like he was defending Kendrick or something. It wasn’t like, ‘Don’t talk to Kendrick like that!’ Kendrick was there, Top was there, Jay was there, Beyoncé was there. Me and Cole. You know, grown men… Got a little heated. All I remember is, me and Jay looking at each other like, ‘Oh, these n***as ‘bout to fight.’ And then just being like, ‘Oh no this is ‘bout to happen.’ I’ll leave it at that.”

Cole references the showdown “Let Go My Hand” off of his new album, The Offseason.

“You wanna know the funny part?” IB continued. “That was a VMA party, everyone was there. Angela Yee was literally at the table. I fuck with Yee, but she got Rumor Report and shit. Walking out of there I’m like, ‘Oh this about to be baaad.’ But for some reason no one had a camera out, a couple people was talking about it, but you know.”

Songs From J. Cole’s ‘The Off-Season’ Dominate All But One Of The Top Five Streaming Spots

J. Cole’s new album The Off-Season may have had an unconventional rollout, but it looks to have had some pretty results for the North Carolina rapper-turned-ballplayer on this week’s Billboard charts. Not only did the album land at No. 1 on the album chart with the biggest streaming week yet in 2021, but songs from the new album also dominated all but one of the top five on the streaming chart, while the Hot 100’s top 10 contains all four of those entries from the new album.

The four songs that made both charts are “My Life” featuring 21 Savage and Morray (who sings Pharoahe Monch’s chorus from Styles P’s 2002 single “The Life”), “Amari,” the only song to be released with its own video, “Pride Is The Devil” which features streaming favorite du jour Lil Baby, and album intro “95 South,” which contains uncredited appearances from turn-of-the-millennium pioneers Cam’ron and Lil Jon. While these songs occupy spots 2-5 on the streaming chart — with Olivia Rodrigo’s “Good 4 U” taking the top spot — they came in at Nos. 2, 5, 7, and 8 on the Hot 100, respectively.

During the album’s eccentric launch, J. Cole released the album’s “Interlude” as a standalone single, shared a documentary detailing its creation, covered Slam magazine, and joined the newly formed Basketball Africa League, playing his first game for the Rwanda Patriots against the Nigeria Rivers Hoopers just one day after the album’s release. Also, some fun facts:

“This is the first time in history that five songs debut in the top 10 of the #Hot100 in a single week,” Billboard announced on Twitter, Monday. The outlet also confirmed that Drake, Juice WRLD, and Lil Wayne are the only other artists to have four songs debut in the top 10.

The Off-Season as a whole debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 with 282,000 equivalent units sold, making it the biggest rap album of 2021.

In response to the album’s popularity, Cole tweeted out a thank you from Rwanda, where he is currently playing in the Basketball Africa League.

“Sending a thank you from Rwanda! #1 album, I appreciate the love, i heard the noise from out here. the off-season means keep pushing yourself, I will do the same,” Cole said.

Doja Cat’s Bizarre Tweet Spree Details Knee Surgery Wishes

Doja Cat has always been known for her eccentric style and goofy personality, but a series of odd tweets even has her most dedicated fans confused. It all began with a series of seemingly irritated tweets including the statement “I’m unfollowing everybody on social media I don’t wanna see one more bitch frolicking on the beach during sunset” which led to more tweets updating the status of her timeline.

Doja took a brief break from her strange behavior to promote the TV debut of her song “Kiss Me More” ft SZA at the Sunday Billboard Music Awards with a very PR-friendly tweet. The night was a success for the “Say So” singer, as her red-carpet looks were applauded along with her performance. She finished the night strong with her 2021 Billboard R&B Female Artist win.

Fans were left puzzled after Sunday night Doja tweeted “I wanna get surgery so bad. My whole life I always wanted to be different and now that I got money I feel like I can finally make my knees 8 inches long and wet.” She responded to one fan’s response of “And wet???? Excuse me” with “I just want them to be constantly dripping wet with an unidentified liquid cuz I feel like thats hella sexy as a girl.”

Even weirder, she changed her Twitter name to “IM AT THE BBMAS W MY DICK OUT” during the show. This strange behavior has left the internet clueless, as no one knows the story behind the freaky tweets and Doja continues to post context-less statements such as “What if instead of Ja Rule it was John Rule.

Tech N9ne Connects With Shao Dow For “Kickiter”

It was only a few years ago that Tech N9ne flirted with the idea of retiring from the rap game but that doesn’t seem to be something he’ll be considering soon. The ever-prolific rapper delivered three albums in 2020 which may have been a result of not being able to tour. However, he’s already plotting on his post-pandemic return to the stage and continues to unleash new music for his fans.

On Friday, the rapper returned with an electrifying new collaboration alongside Shao Dow titled, “Kickiter.” The minimal production is amplified by Tech N9ne’s high-energy and succinct technical prowess on the mic while Shao Dow holds hook duties down on the record.

The rapper recently confirmed that his Strange New World tour will be kicking off this fall. Keep your eyes peeled for that and check Tech’s new track below.

Donovan Mitchell Angry With Jazz For Sitting Him In Game 1: Report

Donovan Mitchell is reportedly angry with the Utah Jazz for holding him out of the team’s 112-109 Game 1 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies, Sunday. Mitchell apologized to fans for not being able to help out his squad, on Twitter, after the game.

“Sorry y’all… I wish I could say more…. I’ll be out there soon!” the young star tweeted.

Fans and teammates alike were surprised to not see Mitchell suit up after he told reporters he would be good to go earlier in the day.

“I’m ready to go,” Mitchell said Sunday morning. “No pain. I’m excited to get going.”

Rudy Gobert downplayed his absence when asked by reporters: “I try to stay out of all of this, because it’s just going to give me a headache,” Gobert said. “Hopefully, he’s good for next game. That’s all I’m worried about.”

Head coach Quin Snyder admitted that Mitchell was frustrated with the training staff’s decision.

“Our medical staff met following shoot around and relayed the decision to hold Donovan out of tonight’s game,” Snyder said. “Obviously Donovan being the competitor he is wants to be out there and hopefully he’ll be out there soon.”

Mitchell has been out since April 16 recovering from a right ankle sprain.

Machine Gun Kelly & Megan Fox Were The BBMA’s Hottest Couple

Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox have become one of pop culture’s beloved couples. The rock-rapper and actress recently wowed the red carpet at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night. MGK wore a Balmain tuxedo that featured retro slightly flared pants, an unbuttoned white shirt to add a bit of edge, and paired his look with a statement — his tongue dyed black.

Megan chose a revealing black Mugler gown that showed off her impressive figure. The bodysuit-like bodice’s large cutouts showed off her sexy side. The top was balanced with a sheer black ruched ankle-length skirt and heels. The fan-favorite PDA shot of the night caught the two lovingly sticking out their tongues at each other before a kiss.

Machine Gun Kelly took home the award for Top Rock Artist and at the end of his speech called Megan his “twin soul” and thanked her for her support and love. Megan shared a picture of the two prior to arriving on the red carpet, lightheartedly captioned, “it’s the broom for me” alluding to the broom someone forgot to remove from the background before taking the picture.

Comments were turned off on Megan’s Instagram post, but that didn’t stop fans from tweeting about the pair. The duo has been a trending topic since they first popped out in May 2020, and as we reported, are getting serious and considering marriage
