Air Jordan 13 “Del Sol” Coming Next Year: First Look

One of the more underrated Air Jordan models of all time is the Air Jordan 13. This is a sneaker that debuted all the way back in 1998 and it was worn by Michael Jordan in his last season with the Bulls. By the end of that season, Jordan had already started wearing the Air Jordan 14, however, there is no doubt that the 13 left a big impression on fans, especially when you consider how it was represented in pop culture. Over the years, it has received various new colorways and in 2022, Jumpman has some big plans for the silhouette.

According to @zsneakerheadz on Instagram, the next big Air Jordan 13 colorway to make its way to the market will be the “Del Sol” offering. “Del Sol” is an aesthetic that we have seen quite a bit over the years and it even made it onto a Nike Kobe 6. As you can see in the photoshop rendering below, this sneaker has a white leather upper all while yellow nubuck is placed on the mudguard and the back heel.

This is a model that is slated to drop in January of 2022 although an exact release date has yet to be determined. Stay tuned to HNHH as we will be sure to bring you all of the latest updates concerning this potential drop. In the meantime, let us know what you think, in the comments below.

DMX’s Funeral Costs Reportedly Covered By Def Jam

Def Jam Records has seen many legendary artists lining their historic roster throughout the years, but when it comes to overall discographies, it’s hard to find a competitor packing more punch than DMX.

In 1998, X left an undeniable impression on the rap game by delivering back-to-back number one albums with It’s Dark & Hell Is Hot and Flesh Of My Flesh, Blood Of My Blood. A few years later, he was among the biggest superstars in the industry, delivering number one albums, starring in action blockbusters, and holding it down with the Ruff Ryders movement. All the while, X remained an integral piece of the Def Jam roster, cementing himself as one of their most acclaimed and beloved artists.

It’s not entirely surprising to see that X’s longtime label, on which his recent Exodus album was released, came through for the late rapper’s family following his death in April. According to the findings of TMZ, Def Jam covered the entirety of DMX’s funeral bill, which came out to a reported total of $35,228.13.

The total expenses as billed to X’s family include the transportation of his coffin, embalming, the red casket, the hearse, and flowers. The documents reveal that the distinctive casket cost a total of $7,450.

Following X’s death on April 9th, Def Jam released a touching statement, describing him as “a brilliant artist and an inspiration to millions around the world.” An accurate assessment of a man who continues to live through his music to this day. Rest in peace to DMX, hip-hop’s honest writer.

Kyle Kuzma Catches Second-Hand Slander From NBA Twitter

Kyle Kuzma is one of those players who will immediately trend whenever they have a bad game. NBA fans love to deliver some Kuzma slander when the moment calls for it, and the same can be said for Ben Simmons of the Philadelphia 76ers. In fact, last night, the Simmons slander took Twitter by storm as the Sixers star only scored five points in the team’s biggest game of the season. Now, Simmons and his team are eliminated from playoff contention, which has many contemplating his future in Philadelphia.

In the midst of this slander, Kuzma caught some strays even though he hasn’t played in two weeks. In the tweets below, fans joked that Simmons and Kuzma would end up forming a superteam in China, where they would be the Shaq and Kobe of the league. These jokes have been made before although it was especially brutal considering Kuzma had nothing to do with last night.

Kuzma and Simmons are two players with iffy futures on their respective teams. For instance, Kuzma recently took the Lakers out of his Instagram bio, while Simmons’ head coach doesn’t even know if he can be a point guard on a winning team. Needless to say, these two are in for turbulent offseasons that could shake up the NBA.

Boosie’s Kids Make Him Cry On Father’s Day

The other day, Boosie Badazz was so upset with his children being rambunctious around the house that he decided to punish them, forcing them to walk around his enormous estate for five hours in the heat. The rap legend filmed their punishment and posted videos on social media but it looks like they’ve officially redeemed themselves, putting together a touching video for Father’s Day, which actually brought the gangster to tears.

Watching the video that his kids made for Father’s Day 2021, in which they named all of the reasons why Boosie is the best dad on Earth, the rapper held back tears and kept a huge smile on his face. He was visibly touched that his kids would go through the trouble of making such a beautiful video for him, making the day extra special. When he started opening his gifts, which included a necklace with a hologram of Boosie with one of his babies, the “Set It Off” superstar burst into tears. “We made a hood n***a cry lol,” wrote one of his children on Instagram.

It’s safe to say that Boosie Badazz had a pretty special Father’s Day this year. He likely woke up this morning feeling pretty fulfilled and lucky to have parented such bright kids. Watch the video below to see the touching moment.

Shaq Goes Off On Ben Simmons After 5-Point Game 7 Performance

Ben Simmons and the Philadelphia 76ers lost to the Atlanta Hawks in Game 7 last night, and now, the Sixers season is officially done. After being favored to come out of the Eastern Conference, the Sixers will now have a summer to think about what happened and whether or not they will be able to come back next year. Players like Simmons had awful playoff campaigns and now, there are real questions as to whether or not the 76ers will want him back.

After last night’s game, Simmons was ripped apart by the Inside The NBA crew, particularly Shaq. Prior to Game 7, Shaq had issued a challenge to Ben Simmons, and in the end, the 76ers star did not deliver. As a result, Shaq was upset with the player’s performance and had some harsh words about what he would do if they were teammates.

“If I played Game 1 and 2 and I know I’m not helping my teammates, what do you think I’m going to do in Game 3? It don’t take you seven games to realize that, I don’t wanna hear that man,” Shaq said. “It don’t take seven games for you to know that you’re not playing right … Get right!”

Simmons’ effort was that of a player who was lost inside of his own head. He was passing up wide-open shots and making decisions that you would expect from a rookie who went undrafted. It was a bad look for Simmons and now, his days in Philly could be numbered.

Soulja Boy Hits Bow Wow With The Ultimate Troll Move

Soulja Boy and Bow Wow have been at each other’s necks for the last few weeks but don’t be mistaken– this isn’t a feud. The two are setting up to face off against each other on Verzuz, comparing their hits catalogs to see, once and for all, who the biggest influence is. As Soulja Boy continues telling the world that he was the first rapper to do anything and everything, he’s officially hit his close friend with the ultimate troll move, reminding fans of the Bow Wow Challenge from a few years ago.

The infamous Bow Wow Challenge kicked off a few years ago at the height of the Bow Wow trollery. One specific fan called out the 34-year-old entertainer and claimed that Bow was sitting on the same commercial flight as him mere minutes after the rapper posted a picture of a private plane on Instagram. Months of clownery followed as people joked that Bow Wow lied about all of his accomplishments for clout, taking everything he said with a grain of salt and discrediting his every move. Soulja Boy made sure to aim at his rival’s jugular with his latest joke, reposting the Bow Wow Challenge on his page on Monday morning.

Ben Simmons Ripped To Shreds On Social Media After Game 7 Loss

Throughout Ben Simmons’ career, there have been people who have touted him as “LeBron James without a jump shot.” Pundits like Stephen A. Smith truly believe that once Simmons develops a jump shot, he will become one of the best players in the league. Unfortunately, none of these prophecies have come to fruition, and quite frankly, Simmons has steadily gotten worse over the last couple of years.

Perhaps the best example of this regression was last night as the Sixers lost Game 7 to the Atlanta Hawks. Simmons had five points in the entire game and at one point, he refused to execute on a wide-open dunk, and instead, passed the ball off to a teammate who was covered. It was a tragic offensive display and his refusal to even attempt shots ultimately cost the Sixers their season.

Immediately after the game, Simmons was the subject of some brutal slander on Twitter, and now, there are some Sixers fans who want him gone. Even Doc Rivers isn’t convinced that Simmons can be the starting point guard on this team, which is a serious indictment of his talents. This could prove to be a turbulent offseason for Simmons and it wouldn’t be surprising to see him on another team in short order.

Stay tuned to HNHH as we will continue to bring you updates from the NBA world.
