Did you know that Beyoncé is a hardcore South Carolina Gamecocks fan? Apparently, she watched and supported the Dawn Staley-coached team all the way through the NCAA Women’s basketball tournament with her family and enjoyed them so much, she sent Staley a bouquet of flowers to commemmorate the team’s historic, undefeated season and championship win. Staley shared “a video thank you” to Beyoncé as she showed off the gift — which included Cowboy Carter merchandise, naturally — and read the card.”If you know, you know,” she said.
To Coach Staley and the entire South Carolina Gamecocks,
Me and my family watched your games and cheered you on through the entire season. I am so proud of you.
Staley also shouted out all the family members, and noted, “I’ve been in the South for 16 years. I’m a little country too.”
The delightful moment is just one in an endless procession of moments that prove that women’s basketball has arrived this year — and one of the few in which a high-profile voice actually congratulated the winners of the tournament, rather than a certain player on the runners-up.
Beyoncé’s bouquets are well known in the music industry; she has sent them to Cowboy Carter collaborators like Mickey Guyton and Jack White and actresses like Sheryl Lee Ralph for her Abbott Elementary Emmy win, but this is first time she’s sent one to an athlete (she gave Serena Williams a special Gatorade commercial in 2022 upon her retirement, unless she got them and didn’t tell us!) or coach.
In the video for “Drink N Dance” from their new album We Still Don’t Trust You, Future and Metro Boomin turn a Broadway theater into a steamy rave. Posted up outside the historic Los Angeles Theatre — I bet you didn’t know LA had a Broadway too — Future performs part of his verse in a T-shirt reading “I Am The Bad Guy.” He continues to sing and rap amid intercuts of the venue being filled with scantily clad women and extreme closeups as he gets intimate with them.
The song is a more peaceful example from the producer-rapper duo’s recent output, which has drawn most of their attention from the war-ready contributions of collaborators ASAP Rocky, Kendrick Lamar, and The Weeknd. On the first installment of the double album, We Don’t Trust You, Kendrick Lamar lit into Drake and J. Cole for “sneak dissin’” him on their song “First Person Future,” while on songs from the more recent release, ASAP Rocky and The Weeknd both had words for their Canadian former collaborator.
Future and Metro are preparing to take this dichotomy on the road with their We Trust You Tour, which begins at the end of July and runs through early September.

Earlier today, some footage of what appeared to be 6ix9ine’s vehicles surfaced online, along with claims that they had been seized by officials. At the time, it was unconfirmed exactly why the vehicles were no longer in the rapper’s possession. A slip on his windshield, however, provided fans with plenty of clues. It stated that they were seized for “nonpayment of internal revenue taxes.”
This seems to check out, as new reports reveal that the IRS paid a visit to his Lake Worth, FL home today. According to TMZ, federal agents pulled up while 6ix9ine wasn’t home and seized several of his belongings. It remains unclear what, besides his vehicles, the agents confiscated. When asked for a statement on the debacle, his attorney Lance Lazzaro just told the outlet, “We are assessing the situation and will issue a statement at the appropriate time.”
The outlet reports that the rainbow-haired rapper isn’t currently in the States. Apparently, he’s still sorting out his legal issues in the Dominican Republic. A few months back, he was arrested for alleged assault after a recording studio run-in and was promptly released. Per the terms of his release, however, he was ordered to stay in the DR for at least six months. Another mandatory condition of his release was that he attend anger management classes. He appears to be doing that, albeit not enjoying it much.
As for what the MC’s been up to outside of his legal drama, he recently teased an upcoming collaboration with NBA YoungBoy. In a clip shared on social media in February, the two of them chatted about new music on a FaceTime call, though details of that have not yet been revealed. What do you think of IRS agents reportedly pulling up to 6ix9ine’s home to confiscate his belongings? What about them seizing his cars? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

But that was just the beginning of the discussion. “I weigh 135 pounds right now. I was at 137, and sometimes I’ve been at 128. That’s bad for me. I do not like being that skinny. So until I get my weight back, I’m not going outside, I’m not f*cking doing content, I’m not putting on no outfit ’cause I feel like I look too skinny,” Cardi confessed. Simone Biles is preparing for her return to the Olympics this summer in Paris. After withdrawing from the Tokyo Games in 2020, it was up in the air if Biles would ever return to the mat. Now she is back and ready to put on a show in Paris. The big story from the past few months hasn’t been about gymnastics but comments made by her husband. Biles’s Significant other, Jonathan Owen, made comments this past December that caused an uproar on social media. People took the comments and ran with them, causing quite a stir and plenty of trolling.
Jonathan Owens said on a podcast that he was “the catch” in the relationship, upsetting the internet. Additionally, he admitted he did not know who Biles was when he saw her on a dating app. Biles is one of the most famous worldwide athletes and decorated Olympians ever, so you can see why people got upset. Owens has since claimed he was unbothered by the whole situation. Now Simone Niles has opened up about the podcast fiasco and its response.
Biles admitted she thought the comments were hilarious at first. She didn’t find anything offensive or out of line, but the internet did. Maybe it was Jonathan Owens brashness that rubbed people the wrong way. Nevertheless, Biles initially thought his podcast comments were ultimately harmless. She then admitted that the reaction hurt her feelings deeply. The harsh response to her husband took her aback and she immediately went on the defensive. Biles obviously knows her husband better than a random person on social media. She went on to affirm what her husband said. She believes he is a catch, and so is she.
All in all, it looks like a situation where fans took things a little too seriously. In the interview, Owens admits in the same clip that Biles really is the one who impressed him and made their whole relationship take off. That’s social media, in a nutshell; something becomes a hot topic and gets toxic real quick. Luckily for Simone Biles, she doesn’t have to worry about anything. Jonathan Owens is currently playing for the Chicago Bears. Biles is looking to show the world she’s still the GOAT at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Every single month, HNHH comes through with a feature containing lesser-known artists that you need to check out right now. Overall, it is an attempt to help our readers expand their horizons and catch onto new artists before they blow up. Furthermore, sometimes, we steer our readers toward artists who they may have missed, despite their current virality. Whatever the case, discovering new music is a whole lot of fun, and in April, our staff got together to talk about some of their favorite under-the-radar releases of the last 30 days. From viral tracks to underground darlings, there is a lot of great music to get to.
JP – “Bad Bitty”
First up, we have JP, a college basketball player from Milwaukee who is making waves in the city’s burgeoning rap scene. Milwaukee rap has characterized itself with one word: “fun.” From catchy danceable tracks to some hilarious samples, artists from Wisconsin’s premiere city seem to be captivating audiences. JP is quintessential Milwaukee. From his extremely catchy bars to his infectious energy, it should come as no surprise that “Bad Bitty” is one of the most viral tracks on the internet right now. He’s become an internet meme, but he still gets talked about with reverence. If there was ever a song to reach “Song of the Summer” status in the middle of the Spring, it would be this one.
feardorian – “highschool”
FearDorian recently put out his debut album and it is getting some critical praise. There is very good reason for this. The Surf Gang collaborator has been making waves with a plethora of incredible tracks and beats that will make you feel like you are on a cloud. Overall, the artist is also a proficient MC who just makes you excited about the way they deliver their tracks. Not to mention, the artist has consistently taken risks with samples. For instance, Amy Winehouse has found her way onto some of FearDorian’s releases. It just goes to show that artists associated with the Milwaukee scene are making some of the most unique music in the United States.
Papo2oo4 – “Had To Ball”
Popo2oo4 is an artist who has been around for a while at this point. Overall, the New York MC has a unique delivery and style that will make you nostalgic for the early to mid-2000s. Even the visual for “Had 2 Ball” is a great example of this. While rapping in front of rims, YouTube commenters are reminded of the Midnight Club video games. However, even the style and beat selections will make you think of those same visual aesthetics. Nostalgia is a very powerful tool in terms of connecting with your audience, and Papo certainly has that in droves.
JaeyBxrd – “Cut Me Open”
JaeyBxrd is an artist who has been bubbling thanks to his unique ability to blend genres. Overall, there have always been artists who try to mix genres. However, JaeyBxrd does it in a way that makes you relive the glory days of early 2000s Post Grunge, and late 2010s SoundCloud rap. He’s one part Juice WRLD and another part Breaking Benjamin. It makes for a great mix of sounds, even if the music reviewer “intelligencia” might scoff at his mere existence. With the song “Cut Me Open,” JaeyBxrd makes an impact that will make you want to go back and play those PlayStation 2 era MX vs. ATV games. It’s a very specific reference, but when you listen to his music, you will understand.
SVDP – “WHIZTLA”
SVDP is a Toronto artist who has been working with plenty of other staples of the Canadian music scene. For instance, the artist recently collaborated with Backxwash and the producer LA+CH. In fact, SVDP got to link up with LA+CH on the track “WHIZTLA” which is an off-kilter banger. The song weaves in and out of calmer and sped-up flows, creating perfect contrasts from start to finish. Meanwhile, the production helps take the song to a new level. Overall, this is a song that you need to check out right now. Additionally, it should urge you to check out other artists within Canada, who are pushing boundaries in their field.
Let us know which of these songs was your favorite, in the comments section down below.
Los Angeles, California rapper 03 Greedo is one of the grittier rappers from the West Coast as he thrives on dropping street bangers. Additionally, he is extremely hardworking, pumping single after single, and project after project. 2024 proves that point, as the veteran MC has already put out a handful of collaborations with artists like evilgiane for example. The amount of solo material has also been impressive, as he has dropped a project exclusively on Soundcloud called F*** EVERYBODY. Now, he is gearing up perhaps for another tape sometime in the near future. Not too long ago, 03 Greedo dropped a new single called “Rico” with a feature from Texas rapper Maxo Kream.
These two have a past work relationship that dates back to 2018. 03 and Maxo first teamed up for the former’s album Punken on “ATW.” Then, in 2019, they reunited for 03 and Kenny Beats collab tape Netflix & Deal for the song “Beg Your Pardon.” Their most recent output came just last year with “Buss Me A Script.”
Now, they are back with maybe their most entertaining effort yet with “Rico (R.I.C.O.).” The beat starts out in more slow-mo fashion before drastically picking up in the pace in its second leg. Both rappers bring some witty bars to the table and it goes over well. Additionally, this track is a part of a two-pack for 03, with “Bless Your Soul” being the second.
What are your thoughts on this brand-new single “Rico (R.I.C.O.)” by 03 Greedo and Maxo Kream? Is the duo’s best collaboration to date, why or why not? Who had the stronger performance on the track and why? Do you prefer this track or “Bless Your Soul” more? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding 03 Greedo and Maxo Kream. Finally, stay with us for everything else going on around the music world.
