I want it out of my way. I don’t want it to be on my kids when I lean forward; just messy!

Rihanna Speaks On Avoiding A “Busted” Look
But Rihanna and ASAP Rocky are so in love with each other that they probably look gorgeous to each other every millisecond of every day… and to most people, if we’re being real. “It’s crazy how we find balance with our chaotic schedules,” Rocky told Billboard recently. “[The relationship] is going great. I don’t think there’s a more perfect person because when the schedules are hectic, she’s very understanding of that. And when the schedule’s freed up, that’s when you get to spend [the] most time together. It’s all understanding and compatibility.”
Meanwhile, Rihanna and ASAP Rocky do plan to expand their family and share more great memories together. “I don’t know what God wants, but I would go for more than two,” she shared with Interview magazine. “I would try for my girl. But of course, if it’s another boy, it’s another boy.” We’ll see whether she chooses to reveal her third pregnancy on a Super Bowl-level stage, if it does happen.

Amber Rose and Iman Shumpert were recently spotted making the most of the last few days of summer in Florida. According to new photos by MEGA, they enjoyed a relaxing day on the beach together. Rose rocked a black swimsuit while Shumpert kept it casual in a pair of white shorts.
Of course, the outing has prompted questions of whether things are heating up between them, or if they were simply hanging out as friends. With that being said, they reportedly didn’t engage in any kissing, hand-holding, or anything else that would indicate they’re an item. After spending time on the beach together, however, they reportedly returned to their “swanky oceanfront hotel” together.

Amber Rose & Iman Shumpert Enjoy Each Other’s Company In Miami
At the time of writing, neither of them has addressed the photos, which arrived just a few months after Shumpert and his ex Teyana Taylor finalized their divorce. News of their split first went public late last year, but Taylor filed in January of 2023. Reportedly, Shumpert was ordered to pay Taylor a one-time, seven-figure payment as part of their settlement. She also kept four marital properties, worth approximately $10 million. Shumpert was ordered to pay $8K per month in child support for their daughters, as well as their private school fees. He kept a Miami condo and compounds in South Georgia and Decatur.

Sway Calloway: The last day you danced, what happened?
Eve: So, the night before is when I met Mase and he was like, “What you want to do?” It was a slow night and I was like, “I want to rap,” and he was like, “Well, let me hear you,” and we rapped a bit. He was like, “Yo, you’re kinda dope.” He was like, “Why don’t you get dressed and we can ride around the city, and we can just listen to music,” and I was like, “I’m not coming with you. If my homies ain’t coming, I’m not coming. I don’t know you.” He was like, “Alright, be cool. Relax.” He was like, “My homeboy is with me. They can drive in the car with him, and they can drive behind us,” and that’s exactly what we did. Literally drove around until the sun came up, listened to music, homegirl’s in the back, went to his sister’s house when the sun came up, had some food. We fell asleep, the girls. When I woke up, he was gone and did not see him again and I stopped that day. I was like, “Never again.”

Stevie Wonder Announces 10 Performances Titled “Sing Your Song! As We Fix Our Nation’s Broken Heart”
Stevie Wonder announces today that he will be playing select dates in October, at the height of a critical election season and a pivotal juncture in American politics and culture, in a call for “joy over anger, kindness over recrimination, peace over war.” The 25-time GRAMMY winner – whose other accolades include an Academy Award, and a Presidential Medal of Freedom among countless other honors – will do ten performances across the nation this October.
As a special thank you, Stevie Wonder will be offering a designated amount of complimentary tickets to those in our communities who are already working tirelessly to fix our nation’s broken heart.
The performances, titled “Sing Your Song! Earlier this month, Beyonce sparked a major debate after she wasn’t nominated for a single Country Music Award. Considering the success of her new album Cowboy Carter, many fans believed she’d be a shoo-in, and were outraged by the apparent snub. Dolly Parton, a superstar of the genre who appears on an interlude track on Beyonce’s aforementioned LP, later fueled this outrage during an interview with Variety.
“Well, you never know. There’s so many wonderful country artists that, I guess probably the country music field, they probably thought, well, we can’t really leave out some of the ones that spend their whole life doing that,” she told the outlet. “It was a wonderful album. She can be very, very proud of, and I think everybody in country music welcomed her and thought that, that was good.”

Tina Knowles Says Beyonce’s “Got Country Roots Too”
“I don’t think it was a matter of shutting out, like doing that on purpose. I think it was just more of what the country charts and the country artists were doing, that do that all the time, not just a specialty album,” Parton also added. Her response didn’t sit well with many, however, including Beyonce’s mother Tina Knowles. She fired back on Instagram earlier today, making it clear she doesn’t agree.
“Oh Ms. Dolly,” she began. “We love you, but Bey did spend her WHOLE life workin’ hard, since she was 9! She got country roots too. She’s mastered her craft and broken records in EVERY genre. So sayin’ she didn’t ‘spend her life’ in country music dismisses all that work she put in. Bey don’t need to stay in one lane to get respect- her talent and work ethic speak for themselves! ScHoolboy Q Leads An Anti-Snitching Campaign In New “THank God 4 Me” Music Video: Watch
ScHoolboy Q’s BLUE LIPS continues to be one of 2024’s best and most impactful albums, and one of its finest and most balanced bangers just got the love it deserves. In the visuals for “THank god 4 me,” the TDE rapper, director Omar Jones, and their team bring forth a lot of visuals alluding to snitching, loyalty, the American dream, diving into one’s psyche, and camaraderie. He even included a snippet of the track “BANG YOUR HEAD” (which features Q) from TDE affiliate and frequent BLUE LIPS presence, Devin Malik. That cut’s off his new album DEADSTOCK, which you should absolutely check out if you haven’t already. All in all, it’s exactly the type of impressive visual treatment and homegrown love that you’d expect.
What’s more is that ScHoolboy Q also added his talents to a lot of other hip-hop moments this year. For example, he recently featured on The Alchemist’s “Ferraris In The Rain” off of his soon-to-come LP, The Genuine Articulate. In the case of the alleged conversation between Q and J. Cole for the latter to drop out of the Kendrick Lamar and Drake battle, then those talents are just common sense, concerned sensitivity, and just looking out for his fellow MCs.

Elsewhere, ScHoolboy Q is also leading the charge for the hype around fellow TDE member Doechii’s excellent mixtape, Alligator Bites Never Heal. He sung its praises online, and all this goes to show just how much more he’s done this year beyond just dropping a surefire AOTY finalist. Sometimes, artists drop and disappear altogether, but seeing Q in this space as of late is always a treat. That’s especially the case when he can nurture and further push the great songs and ideas he discusses on the album, of which “THank god 4 me” is a clear standout.
However, ScHoolboy Q also lends his critical perspective from time to time, such as with Michael Rubin’s controversial comments about Black culture on The Breakfast Club. “YOU KNOW WAT I DONT LIKE ABOUT U N***ERS? I HATE WHEN U N***ERS BE ACTING LIKE N***ERS…basically,” he said to characterize Rubin’s comments. “NO SUCH THING AS BLACK ON BLACK ANYTHING,” Q added in this since-deleted series of tweets.

Nelly Hit With $50 Million Lawsuit From Former St. Lunatics Groupmates
Nelly has had a lot on his plate for the past few months. In August, he and his fiancée Ashanti welcomed their first child together. Shortly before that, he was arrested at a casino in Missouri. He was accused of ecstasy possession, which his attorney vehemently denied on his behalf. Now, according to new court documents obtained by AllHipHop, he’s been hit with a $50 million lawsuit.
The lawsuit in question was reportedly filed by his former St. Lunatics groupmates Ali, Murphy Lee, Kyjuan, and City Spud earlier this week. They accuse Nelly of copyright infringement and unjust enrichment. Allegedly, they didn’t receive proper credit or compensation for their contributions to Country Grammar, Nelly’s 2000 debut studio album.

Four Former St. Lunatics Members Accuse Nelly Of Copyright Infringement And Unjust Enrichment
They accuse Nelly of falsely and fraudulently claiming to be the sole author of various tracks he allegedly created with St. Lunatics. These include “Batter Up,” “Thicky Thick Girl,” and “Steal The Show.” In their lawsuit, they also allege that Nelly promised to give them credit and compensation for their contributions. According to them, they figured out that he was allegedly not telling the truth several years later in 2020.
“Despite repeated assurances by defendant Haynes that plaintiffs would receive their writing credit and publishing income for creating the Original Compositions, plaintiffs, sometime in 2020, eventually discovered that defendant Haynes had been lying to them the entire time,” the lawsuit reads. “Plaintiffs eventually discovered that not only did they not receive any credit as authors and/or creators of the Original Compositions, but that defendant Haynes, and others, took full credit for creating the Original Compositions contained in the Infringing Album.” What do you think of Nelly getting sued by his former St. Lunatics groupmates?
