Drake’s father, Dennis Graham, has social media buzzing after hitting the club for his birthday on Friday night. In a viral video from the celebration, he can be seen rocking an all-white and gold outfit with glasses while blowing out candles on birthday cakes. When 2Cool2Blog shared the video on Instagram, fans had plenty of jokes.

“It’s always funny to see him in those George Clinton 1981 fits. Durag under the kufi is outrageous,” one user remarked. Another wrote: “Wonder how many women were subjected to him being in their ear this night.” Other users referenced Pusha T’s diss track, “The Story of Adidon.” One user wrote: “Marriage is somethin’ that Sandi never had, Drake / How you a winner, but she keep comin’ in last place?”

Dennis previously made headlines for coming to his son’s defense amid his viral feud with Kendrick Lamar, Metro Boomin, and more rappers. “Yo, I am about to drop some new music and I am not sure if it’s going to sell, but I am going to call some of my homies, and get them to start a beef with Drake, and get them to unfollow him, and that’s going [to] make my s**t shoot up to No. 1,” he wrote on social media. “I’m sure this is going to work, so let me get some people on board for this and watch what kind of attention this gets! The Weeknd responded to Nicki Minaj’s recent praise on X (formerly Twitter), earlier this week, after the rapper posted about his “sweet” falsetto. “How does The Weeknd still have that sweet young sounding falsetto?” Nicki wrote in one post. He replied with a number of heart emojis.

Nicki’s praise comes after The Weeknd dropped his latest single, “Dancing in the Flames,” earlier this month. He had performed the track during a massive concert in São Paulo at the beginning of the month, along with several other new songs. He also welcomed Playboi Carti and Anitta to the stage.

Despite her praise of The Weeknd, Nicki hasn’t been entirely positive on social media as of late. She’s called out JAY-Z on several occasions after the legendary rapper chose Kendrick Lamar to perform at the Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show in New Orleans. She thought the move was disrespectful to her longtime collaborator, Lil Wayne, who is from Louisiana. “Denying a young black man what he rightfully put into this game for no other reason but your ego,” Minaj wrote on X, earlier this month. “Your hatred for BIRDMAN, Drake & Nicki got you punishing Lil Wayne?!?!!! Snoop Dogg Admits 2Pac Was A “Better Dad” To His Son Than Him

Snoop Dogg says that 2Pac played a major role in raising his son, Corde. He reflected on their relationship during an interview with PEOPLE, earlier this week, remarking that the late rapper was a better father to him than he was early on. He explained: “I was working on [my 1996 album] Tha Doggfather. So when [Corde] was old enough able to pee and all that other sh*t, I started taking him to the studio with me. … So I’m raising him around all of the homies.”

Snoop continued: “Tupac loved him. It’s like his nephew. Tupac was a better dad than me. We’ve been up here [in the recording studio for] three hours and we ain’t got him nothing to eat. It’s like I’m up here rapping and sh*t, I’m not being a father. [He was] training me.”

‘Pac tragically died in 1996 after a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas. A year later, Snoop welcomed his second son, Cordell. “I put them in football, and I watched them work together. Football helped me to become a real good father because I was around other men who were single parents, or either had a great wife, or was a grandfather raising their son’s kids — so much I could learn from them,” Snoop recalled.

It’s not the first time Snoop has reflected on his relationship with 2Pac as of late. When launching his Death Row Cannabis products, he revealed that ‘Pac was the first person to introduce him to blunts, which he did at the wrap party for the film Poetic Justice. “That first blunt sparked a friendship that ran deep. This year, Questlove showed off his expansive musical knowledge with the release of his book, Hip-Hop Is History. Despite his controversial sonic hot takes, Questlove is undeniably a musicologist.

In 2025, Questlove will flex his award-winning creativity by directing a documentary surrounding the iconic music group, Earth Wind & Fire. Today (September 21), Questlove took to his Instagram to announce the new.

“Coming in 2025…..the definitive story of the elements,” he wrote. “The story of how a band led by a genius from Chicago changed our way of thinking, our minds and our hearts. Having been baptized in the afrocentric joy river of this powerhouse unit, I’ve learned about them, I’ve learned about us & more importantly I’ve learned about and rediscovered myself in the process.”

Although Questlove hasn’t revealed any additional details surrounding the project (including title, release date, creative direction, etc.), he did express his gratitude to be leading the charge. “I’m so excited to be directing a documentary preserving their positive but VERY vulnerable and real story of soul, self & struggle,” he wrote. “This is the story of joy, persistence, love, pain, magic and self discovery. This is Earth, Wind & Fire.”

Back in 2022, Questlove took home the Best Documentary Oscar for Summer Of Soul, so viewers are certainly in for a moving piece.

Speaking with reporters at the Beverly Hilton, LL Cool J expressed his concern for Diddy’s children while Flavor Flav explained that he had no interest in commenting on the situation.

“I feel for his children, the rest I can’t speak on, that’s what we’ve got a court system for. But I feel for his kids,” LL Cool J said. Authorities arrested Diddy on alleged sex trafficking and racketeering charges in New York City, earlier this week. He’s already pleaded not guilty to the charges but was unable to get out on bail as the state expressed concerns that he might contact witnesses. He currently resides at the infamous Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn while awaiting trial. At the jail, authorities have placed him on suicide watch, according to TMZ, but his attorney, Marc Agnifilo, says it’s merely a routine measure for “new, high-profile inmates.”

The two dropped the first installment in the series back in February. Ty previously defended collaborating with Ye during an interview with Billboard, earlier this year. “Ye is the best artist of this generation, besides me, and I don’t give a f–k about what people were talking about. I know my n****. He’s one of the best people I’ve ever met,” he said at the time. He also argued that West’s controversial comments won’t impact the popularity of their music. “Just with my analysis of how it goes with him, he goes all the way to the top. Nicki Minaj Viciously Slammed Steve Stoute After He Refuted Her Claim About Deal With Jay-Z’s Former Streaming Platform Tidal

Apparently, Nicki Minaj’s tension with Jay-Z runs much deeper than most initial thought. After Kendrick Lamar was announced as the Apple Music Super Bowl 2025 Halftime Show headliner, the “FTCU” rapper took to X (formerly Twitter) to blast Jay-Z for having a hand in “snubbing” Lil Wayne.

According to Nicki Minaj, Jay-Z never paid her for their business deal involving his former streaming platform, Tidal. Yesterday (September 20), during an appearance on The Pivot Podcast, record executive Steve Stoute claimed that wasn’t the full story as she “never signed the paperwork” sent to her. Now, Nicki Minaj has slammed Steve Stoute for inserting himself into the matter while providing more details about the highly publicized deal.

“Every day a new man pushing 60 years of age gets fingered in the bussy then made to come on this internet & lie on me,” she wrote. “God is in control. Bookmark this. I’d advise y’all to never mention my name again.”

She then shared insight regarding reports that she received a payment after the streamer was purchased. “I received a call advising Tidal was sold, and they made no money on the deal so all they could offer me was a million dollars,” she wrote. “But wait, there’s more. The lawyer advised that Desirat advised him that I HAD TO SIGN THE AGREEMENT IN 24 HOURS IF I WANTED THE $1M or the ‘offer’ was off the table. Authorities charged the Bad Boy with sex trafficking and racketeering in New York City, earlier this week. Ray J says the situation presents a learning opportunity for the younger generation. Additionally, he says he never personally witnessed any of the crimes of which Diddy is being accused.

“We’ve all been around him, at least in my era, and have looked up to him,” Ray J said. “And this situation is super unfortunate, but it’s important to learn a lesson right now and ensure the next generation understands how to move differently with transparency and integrity.”

Sage The Gemini Responds To Woman Who Claims She Was Sexually Assaulted By Him At Chris Brown’s Home

It seems that Cassie coming forward and speaking out against Diddy is inspiring other women to come forward. According to a repost from AllHipHop‘s Instagram, club hitmaker Sage The Gemini is now being accused of sexual assault. Chris Brown is also being roped into these same accusations by TikTok content creator, Hana Katana. According to theJasmineBrand, she uploaded an emotional video to the platform explaining to her audience what happened, as well as to make everyone aware that Sage and Brown “are r*pists”.

Katana says that this all went down in 2016 when she was 18 at Chris Brown’s home. Additionally, Breezy was also being accused of r*ping her friend. She allegedly was 16 and under the influence on a separate occasion from hers. She doesn’t explain why or how she got involved with them, but she says that she should have never been there to begin with. Katana says she was forced to sign an NDA to make it seem like this alleged act of sexual assault was consensual. The reason this happened was because she needed a ride home, had no money, and that Sage was going to pay for her Uber ride.

After all of these posts, the “Gas Pedal” rapper seemed pretty chill and unbothered. In multiple IG Story posts, he appears to react to Hana’s claims. “Only people she not Lyin to is the police cuz they don’t give our careers! #FindANewHustle”, he wrote. Later, he seemed to joke about her just now coming out and making such serious allegations. “When I ruptured my patellar tendon I called emergency services the same day!”. Sage The Gemini then signed off with one last quip, “Internet could sell you a foot if they said you could walk faster”.
