Maxo Kream And Tyler The Creator Reunite To Reminisce On The ‘Cracc Era’
Maxo Kream and Tyler The Creator last linked up on 2021’s “Big Persona,” a chest-beating display of their burgeoning chemistry. In 2024, that chemistry remains as strong as ever on “Cracc Era,” the first single from Maxo’s upcoming follow-up to his 2021 album, Weight Of The World. As usual, Tyler handles the beat, a burping, bumbling throwback to his early career (and the closest thing we’re ever going to get to a new Neptunes beat from here on out, apparently).
Lyrically, T remains as boastful as ever, while Maxo gets contemplative, recalling his young, wild days prior to rap. “Way before I did this rappin’ I was out here jackin’ n****s / I mean like jackin’ was my skill, jack your pounds and jack your pills/Catch you lackin’ by the hill, we jackin’ n***s, Jack & Jill,” the Texas native raps.
While there isn’t much information about the new album in the press release for “Cracc Era,” there is this positive note: “Now in better mental and physical shape than ever before – Maxo has lost more than 75 pounds over several months – Maxo is ready to make a statement with his next album.” You gotta love to see your faves getting healthy.

Diddy’s Latest Accuser Speaks Out After Filing Sexual Assault Lawsuit
Diddy and his former bodyguard, Joseph Sherman, are facing a lawsuit accusing them of drugging and violently raping a woman at the Bad Boy Records studio in 2001. The alleged victim, Thalia Graves, filed the case in Los Angeles on Tuesday. Afterward, she and her lawyer, Gloria Allred, held a press conference to discuss the claims.
“The internal pain after being sexually assaulted has been incredibly deep and hard to put into words,” Graves said. “It goes beyond just the physical harm caused during the assault. It’s a pain that reaches into the very core of who I am leaving emotional scars that may never fully heal.” She added: “Being blamed, questioned and threatened has oftentimes made me feel worthless, isolated and sometimes responsible for what has happened to me. I am emotionally scarred. I’m glad that [Combs] is locked up but that is a temporary feeling of relief.”

Thalia Graves Gets Emotional During Her Press Conference
The lawsuit accuses Diddy and Sherman of lacing one of her drinks at the studio. After unknowingly consuming the drug in the drink, Graves allegedly lost consciousness and was bound and restrained when she awoke. In 2023, she claims to have learned that a video of the alleged attack exists which exacerbated her emotional distress. Sherman has denied the allegations in a statement to the Daily Mail, labeling the lawsuit a “money grab.”

Ashanti Pumps Breast Milk While Getting A Pump In At The Gym
Ashanti and Nelly have been officially parents since July 18, 2024, and they broke the news nearly a month later. The musical couple tied the knot, pretty discretely, on December 27, 2023, so they didn’t waste too much time with that endeavor. The bundle of joy’s name is Kareem Kenkaide Haynes, and she made the pregnancy announcement late last year. “This new year of my life is such a blessing full of love, hope and anticipation. Motherhood is something that I have looked forward to, and sharing this with my family, fiancé and loyal fans, who have been so supportive of my career, is an amazing experience”.
Due to her and Nelly’s decade-long past, fans and their loved ones have been so happy to see them flourish now as a family. Ashanti’s father was one of those people, as he expressed how thankful he was for Nelly asking for permission to marry his daughter. “For me, it’s very special for a man in this era to ask for someone’s hand [in marriage], especially your daughter’s. I was very impressed with the fact that you asked. I’m glad things worked out for you. God’s way will always happen best”. Even though the initial excitement has passed, Ashanti has remained thankful, regardless of the postpartum, and everything that comes with it.

Top5 Boldy Threatens Kendrick Lamar And Metro Boomin While Streaming With DJ Akademiks
Top5 took aim at Kendrick Lamar and Metro Boomin while speaking with DJ Akademiks and Adin Ross for an interview after his release from jail, earlier this week. In doing so, he claimed he didn’t want any weapons involved, but was down to fight them one-on-one.
“It’s not a threat, I’m just looking for Metro Boomin and Kendrick Lamar,” he began. “I’m doing my homework on them right now, doing my tasks on them right now. Nothing incriminating. I’m just looking for them. I want Metro Booming one-on-one. I don’t want no weapons, nothing. I’m knocking the f*ck outta him. Kendrick Lamar, you cross the border, Chubbs calling me, you passed the border man.” From there, Akademiks brought up the Toronto restaurant, New Ho King. Top5 promised to quit rapping if Lamar goes there without 20 police officers to protect him.

Prior to the interview, he revealed in a post on Instagram that Drake helped cover his legal fees for the trial surrounding his alleged involvement in the murder of a 20-year-old accounting student. He eventually edited the caption to remove his fellow Toronto rapper’s name and instead, thank his lawyer, Gary Grill. Gill argued outside the courtroom: “The problem about prosecuting artists like Mr. Ali based on their music, it fails to understand what the medium is, what’s it about, and how drillers approach their audiences. It’s important for all drillers to portray themselves as the biggest, baddest gangsters on the planet. That’s what sells. That’s what all drillers are doing.”

Fatman Scoop’s Cause Of Death Revealed
Fatman Scoop was and always will be a beloved hip-hop figure. The Harlem, New York native was able to bring immense energy to any track, lowkey or not. He’s certainly leaving an indelible mark on the genre and one that will really never be able to be replicated again. The world abruptly lost Scoop on August 30 after collapsing onstage mid-performance at Hamden Town Center Park in Connecticut. Everyone in the crowd fell silent as soon as he fell out of view behind the DJ table. Medical personnel got to the event a little after 8:30 p.m. and tried to administer CPR.
He was then transported to a local hospital, which is where he lived his final moments. But in true Fatman Scoop fashion, he did get to do what he was best at; having fans jump around and live just as carefree and fun as he did. His radiant personality will assuredly always be with us and his loved ones for the rest of time. It’s why it’s still hard to talk about him almost a month later, as we now have confirmation on his cause of death.

Specifically, it had to with hypertensive and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. It essentially leads to clogged arteries, unregulated high blood pressure, and blood clots. ICYMI: Soulja Boy Sells Out Gramercy Theatre In NYC For His SODMG Tour
Last week, Soulja Boy packed out Gramercy Theatre for the New York leg of his SODMG tour. The energy backstage was electric as media, press and friends flooded to support Soulja Boy. New York’s own comedian/rapper HolliTV was invited as Soulja Boy’s surprise guest and both turned up backstage before kicking off the show.
The crowd was restless with anticipation for Big Draco to take the stage and went ballistic when he walked out to “You Aint Bout That Action” before hitting fans with certified classic, “Turn My swag On.” Soulja Boy even jumped into the audience, briefly, showing love to his day ones. After playing his more recent records like “Rick & Morty,” Draco performed hits likes “Pretty Boy Swag,” before bringing HolliTV out on stage with him. Soulja Boy shined his spotlight on his friend and even played Holli’s new record “JULIO” for the crowd.
After Holli’s guest appearance on stage, Soulja got right back to it with, “I Got Me Some Bapes,” followed by “All The Way Turnt Up.” The next song had female fans going crazy as Soulja Boy threw off his jacket and shirt before serenading the crowd with “Kiss Me Thru The Phone.” Draco made sure to end the night on a high with another one of his biggest hits, “Crank That.” Watching everyone on stage and in the crowd simultaneously “crank that” together made for an unforgettable evening.

What’s your favorite song off your latest album Swag Season?
Soulja Boy: Favorite song off my latest album, I would have to say “Iguodala,” but really all of ’em. It’s really every song I’m working with, but like, “Iguodala,”, I just been vibing to that back to back. We finna drop a whole lot of different videos off that project. I got a new tape on the way too, I’m gonna drop it while I’m on tour.
So it’s dropping soon?
Soulja Boy: It’s dropping real soon. It’s called The Adventures of Soulja Boy and it’s coming to all streaming platforms. It’s gonna be crazy.
Any features on the project?
Soulja Boy: We gonna keep that on the low. It’s gonna be crazy though.
So this far in your career, when you look back and reflect, what’s the most important lesson you’ve learned?
Soulja Boy: Just have fun, keep your health first, and chase your dreams. I feel like I always knew what I wanted to do from the top. When you listen to other people, that’s when you get distracted from your goals. You should just focus and do what your mind tell you to do and not get distracted by other people.
You’re always innovating, whether it’s music, internet trends, game consoles – What’s next for Soulja Boy outside of music?
Soulja Boy: I got a video game on the way, so I came out with the video game console, but now I got the actual Soulja Boy video game coming. It’s gonna be crazy. Y’all stay tuned it’s gonna be coming real soon.
What’s been your favorite city on tour so far?
Soulja Boy: New York
Any crazy tour stories you could share with us?
Soulja Boy: I brought my man HolliTV out! I’m scrolling on the internet one day, like on TikTok and I’m just seeing this going viral like Don Julio- I’m like, ‘yo, bro, you gotta come to the show,’ and bro just popped out! I love seeing shit like that cause it remind me of when I came out with “Crank That” and was just going viral organically. It’s nothing better than just doing organic shit, organic music, it’s the best.

Diddy’s children have come out and denounced the controversial book purportedly written by their mother Kim Porter before she died.
The Sellers Of The Kendrick Lamar Cover Art Shoes Are Attempting To Cash In With A New eBay Listing And Merch
Kendrick Lamar dropped a new song, unofficially titled “Watch The Party Die,” earlier this month, and fans quickly discovered the photo of Nike Air Force 1 shoes used for the song’s cover art came from an eBay listing. Now, the people behind the eBay listing are hoping to cash in on their unexpected brush with fame.
Little Rock, Arkansas’s TVH11 reports that couple Billy Lingo and Darla Wilson is behind the eBay account Good2BYou, whose listing was the source of the photo. They spoke to Wilson and Lingo, who revealed they decided to cancel the $70 sale and re-list the shoes, in light of their newfound notoriety. The new listing can be found here; It has a starting bid of $5,000 and a Buy It Now price of $75,000.
“I know that’s probably not going to happen, but it could,” Lingo said of the lofty Buy It Now figure.
The eBay listing reads in part, “Kendrick Lamar ‘Watch the Party Die’ Cover Artwork Photo depicting a pair of Low top Black on Black Air Force One athletic shoes,(315122-001), Shoes were made on 07/08/2009, Men’s size 12. I am selling the actual shoes in the photo. […] I will also include all messages, original order information including cancelation information etc and original listing with pics from EBay Customer service. Do Not miss this once in a life time opportunity to own a documented piece of HIP HOP History.”
Lingo and Wilson also told TVH11 they plan to start selling t-shirts featuring the now-famous photo.
