Early on in the episode, she admitted that she’s nervous about putting the documentary out in the world.

“It’s extremely scary to share the lows,” Minaj said. “It makes me very proud to know I inspire my fans. And seeing fans that grew up with, still here with me, always makes me emotional, to be honest. I’ll never get over that, ever ever ever. Because y’all guys are the reason. Period.”

She also confirmed to a fan that each of the episodes will focus on a different era of her career, and will stream in chronological order. As for pregnancy footage, “You just gotta wait and see, boo boo,” she said.

While she did not go into details regarding a release date or even a platform on which the documentary will stream, she did revealed that the documentary is coming very soon.

“We have the month that the documentary is coming,” Minaj said. “We do not have the date, but we have the month. It’s going to be a very exciting month for the Barbz. It’s obviously coming out in 2022.”

In regards to music, she also revealed that “‘Freaky Girl’ isn’t actually going to be called ‘Freaky Girl,’” admitting that she wasn’t allowed to use that title.

Labrinth Shoots For The Star On His New Single, ‘Lift Off’

We may have to wait until 2024 until the third season of HBO’s teen drama, Euphoria. In the meantime, Labrinth, the man behind the show’s musical score, has shared a new single. On “Lift Off,” his first solo single since 2019, and his first musical offering outside of the Euphoria universe, Labrinth soars outside of the confines of the world, shooting for the stars.

Labrinth has been teasing “Lift Off” on his social media handles for the past month, and the song even appeared in a commercial for the all-electric Cadillac Lyriq.

“Lift off / Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, gone / You see my rocket ship / Head up in the clouds / When the spaceship lit, ignite / Hit me from the ground / I’m about to lift off,” he sings on the song’s chorus.

The song is a departure from the darker lyrical themes of his Euphoria music, however, utilizes much of the same organ and synth sounds. In an interview with Okayplayer earlier this year, Labrinth revealed that his upcoming album will be gospel-inspired.

“Gospel will be in everything that I do,” he said. “It’s one of the most consistent anchors in my career, it’s in some way on everything I’ve made.”

Tyrese Praises Will Smith As His “Hero” Following Video About Chris Rock Oscars Slap

After months of silence, Will Smith emerged today to answer a few questions about his controversial Academy Awards moment earlier this year. After slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars following a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith, the actor was vilified for using physical violence on the Hollywood stage. Jada has received harsh criticism and blame for the incident, but in his candid video to the world, Smith stated that his wife had nothing to do with his reaction.

We previously reported on Smith’s poignant clip, and like millions of others, Tyrese watched the video on social media. However, Tyrese had a few things to get off of his chest when it came to how he felt about Smith, so he decided to share those thoughts in a lengthy message.

“After 3 months [ as so much other STUFF has happened in the world ] he’s been paused and put in mental, emotional and traumatic prison ] because when you actually CARE for people and how you effect them from your WORDS and CHOICES you lose a LOT of sleep over those very mistakes,” wrote Tyrese. “Will Smith if you see this message big bro the real ones out here love you and have never ever stopped loving you because we know you are HUMAN.”

Tyrese added that people love Chris Rock as well, along with his family and the Smiths.

“You def broke the internet…. But if Suge Knight had slapped someone at the Oscar’s it would have been in the blogs for 3 days and been over,” said the actor, adding that because of Smith’s untainted reputation, the situation was made a bigger deal than it had to be. “You’re my forever and ever hero and I thank you for growing up in REAL TIME and showing us what it’s like to be the BIGGEST MOVIE STAR in the WORLD and then showing us ALL that’s you’re HUMAN and make mistakes too.”

“Blade Runner 2049” Actress Ana De Armas Channels Marilyn Monroe In “Blonde” Trailer: Watch

Marilyn Monroe’s name has been a hot topic as of late, first with reality star Kim Kardashian donning (and allegedly damaging) one of her iconic gowns at this year’s Met Gala, and now, with Knives Out actress Ana de Armas bringing her back to life in the forthcoming Netflix original, Blonde.

The first trailer arrived earlier this week, and as Entertainment Weekly notes, it “blurs the line between reality and fiction” throughout the late starlet’s tragic life as she attempts to maintain both her identity and sanity while the movie industry does everything it can to crush her spirit.

“I’ve played Marilyn Monroe, Marilyn Monroe, Marilyn Monroe,” Armas says while channelling the historic sex symbol. “I can’t face doing another scene with Marilyn Monroe,” she adds while a chilling version of “Diamonds Are A Girl’s Best Friend” from 1953’s Gentleman Prefer Blondes plays.

“Marilyn doesn’t exist. When I come out of my dressing room, I’m Norma Jean. I’m still her when the camera is rolling. Marilyn Monroe only exists on the screen.”

The film was adapted from a Joyce Carol Oates novel of the same name, and shouldn’t be regarded as a biopic, but rather, “a fantastical depiction of Monroe’s life.”

In the official synopsis, it’s stressed that Blonde is a “boldly imaginative project” that highlights “a life both known and unknown” while exploring some of the complications Norma Jean was faced with throughout her tragically short life.

Director Andrew Dominik described his film as “a movie for all the unloved children of the world” while speaking with Collider.

“It’s like Citizen Kane and Raging Bull had a baby daughter,” he explained. “The whole idea of Blonde was to detail a childhood drama and then show the way in which that drama splits the adults into a public and private self.”

“And how the adult sees the world through the lens of that childhood drama, and it’s sort of a story of a person whose rational picture of the world as being overwhelmed by her unconscious, and it uses the iconography of Marilyn Monroe.”

“So basically, I was kinda working as her P.A. I kind of needed a side job,” the model joked. “No, but basically, I was in Vegas, we’re friends. I really wanted to see her play, she asked me to come along with her. I was like, I didn’t know I was gonna go and sit or do anything. I thought I was just gonna come and watch her play.”

“She had a speech she was going to do, she was winning awards,” Delevingne added. “I was helping her run her lines, like, I was walking around with a clipboard helping her do lines—not do lines, but helping her memorize her speech. I mean, she was on the red carpet so I was standing behind her, and then she was trying to [adjust her dress] so I was helping her.”

She added that because she didn’t intend to actually attend the award show, she felt out of place but decided to take photos of Megan to support her friend. “People find me odd, but that’s me.”
