Suenos Festival proved over its first weekend that it has the potential to become a Chicago tradition and a premier destination for Latin talent for years to come.

The final day of the first-ever Suenos featured dazzling stars, gorgeous weather, and impeccable moods, with twelve hours of nonstop Latin and Reggaeton music. J Balvin closed up the night with a fantastic performance, making the most of his one and only appearance in the United States in 2022. Wisin Y Yandel, performing as part of their last tour (“La ltima Misión”), brought down the house with hits from their decades-long career. Ascendant superstars like Jhayco and Sech exhibited their talent and musicianship, Fuerza Regida provided regional Mexican flair, budding stars like Lyanno and La Gabi illustrated why they were next up, and Chicago-based DJ Miriam opened the event for her hometown. DJ Fredy Fresco, the official Sueos DJ, spun hits from all eras of Reggaeton between shows, bringing the audience together under the flag of Perreo.

Suenos Music Festival, located in Grant Park in the center of downtown Chicago, is celebrating the success of its inaugural event and looking forward to many more fantastic years in the Windy City, which has one of the largest Hispanic populations in the country.

Lizzo Returns With More Bootylicious Antics After Brief Social Media Break

Just like the rest of the world, Lizzo needs to log out of social media from time to time to protect her mental health, but when she resurfaces, you can count on the 34-year-old to make a bang – like she did earlier today.

On Monday evening, the “Truth Hurts” singer returned to her feed with a cheeky video of her practicing her dives in the pool, not hesitating to show off her bodacious behind in her blue and white tie-dye swimsuit.

“Hi… I needed some time. How are you?” she wrote in the caption, addressing her absence from posting for over a week.

Hours later, Lizzo returned with a photo dump and some words to express how she’s been feeling as of late. “We are in wild times and I don’t know how to express it, or what to do about it,” she began.

“…All I know is I’m gonna try to be part of positive change on this planet. People are precious and deserve to be protected. Take care of yourselves today. Love you.”

In her most recent upload, the Detroit native began with a panoramic video taking in the beautiful mountain views around her. Next, we see a clip of Lizzo standing in the pool, a man who could be her boyfriend not far from her, followed by a video with some booty shaking.

Other inclusions find Lizzo feeling herself in front of the mirror, showing off her colourful new nails, and giving us a look inside her drink – check it all out below, and tap back in with HNHH later for more pop culture news updates.

Donald Glover’s “Star Wars” Series Still A Possibility, Rapper “Holds All The Cards” Lucasfilm Head Says

Over this past weekend, Star Wars fans from all over the world flocked to Anaheim, California, where they attended a four-day convention full of updates on their favourite film franchise and its countless spinoff series’. During an interview with CinemaBlend, Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy was pressed specifically about a project with Donald Glover that was teased a few years back.

If you’re not familiar, the rapper/actor portrayed a younger version of Lando Calrissian (originally played by Billy Dee Williams) in 2018’s Solo: A Star Wars Story, and not long after his beloved take on the character made its debut, it was reported that an original series called Lando was in development from Dear White People writer-director Justin Simien.

“You need to ask Donald,” Kennedy said of the Disney+ show’s status. “He’s the one that holds all the cards here. But there’s no movement. I will say that honestly. But it’s not for lack of trying. It’s just that he’s a very busy guy.”

The Lucasfilm’s head pointed out that Glover is working on another series at the moment – likely his Mr. & Mrs. Smith project in collaboration with Amazon Prime – and after he wraps up that and one other thing, “he’ll come [Disney’s] way. So, patiently waiting.”

As Complex notes, the Camp hitmaker appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! a few months back, when the host asked about the 38-year-old’s continued involvement in the Star Wars world, even bringing up him reprising the role of Lando. “Am I?” Glover answered.

“I have a lot of things. I like to blossom then go away. Right now is definitely the start of another one of those. I have like a ton of stuff I’ve been working on, but I just want it all to come out at the same time, so I feel like that’s what’s important.”

In other news, another panel at Star Wars Celebration confirmed that Liam Neeson will be bringing his beloved character from the first prequel film to life in an upcoming animated series – read more about that here, and tap back in with HNHH later for more pop culture news updates.

The Maid star and the Bleachers member first linked up last summer; they were spotted smooching in New York City in August and made their romantic relationship public in early 2022 with their debut at the AFI Awards Luncheon in early March ahead of the Critics’ Choice Awards – where Qualley was nominated – where they posed for photos together days later.

Last month, the Maid star showed up in support of her beau at the 2022 Grammy awards as he was celebrated for his work on Taylor Swift’s Evermore, and also received accolades as Producer of the Year, Non-Classical for his production on projects like Lorde’s Solar Power, Swift’s “Gold Rush,” and Lana Del Rey’s Chemtrails Over the Country Club, among others.
