Bronny James Jr. Hits Poor Defender With Slick Ankle-Breaker

Bronny James Jr. has finished his Junior season at Sierra Canyon, and now, he is starting his summer off right by playing some Elite Youth Basketball League ball. This is great place to hone one’s skills and as he goes into his Senior year, there are a lot of expectations that Bronny will take a leap and prove himself to be a top-tier recruit for the college game.

As it stands, James is a four-star recruit who is ranked 34th in the country. In just a couple of years from now, he could very well be drafted into the NBA and with that being said, many are keeping a watchful eye on all of his games. He always seems to churn out highlights and over the weekend, that was certainly no exception.

In the tweet below from Overtime, Bronny can be seen turning a defender’s ankles into jello. He starts off by trying to take a three but as he’s about to be guarded, Bronny decides to step off to the side which ultimately leaves the defender in shambles. He then drives to the basket and gets the layup, all while the crowd went wild. It was a very nice play and one that will lead to even more hype for the eldest son of LeBron.

Bronny’s development as a player will be fun to watch over the next few years. Hopefully, we get to see him on the court with his father one day, as that would truly be perfect.

A$AP Bari Labels A$AP Rocky “Burnt Out” In IG Diss

A$AP Bari called out A$AP Rocky on Instagram, Monday, labeling the new father “burnt out.” The comment came on a post with several photos of Rocky as well as a snippet of a song by Kingpin Skinny Pimp.

“You burnt out…,” Bari wrote in response to the post.

It’s unclear what prompted the aggression, but fans were quick to take Rocky’s side, with some referencing Bari’s 2019 sexual assault case. Others made it clear Rocky is living “his best life” and Bari is likely jealous.

“Rocky is living his best life at this point and this show will last forever for him, Rih and family,” one user wrote. “Accept it that Rocky is DIVINE and a BLESSED MAN so he can never be cursed. Go and put your miserable life in order and leave him alone to enjoy his life, business and beautiful family. Bye Bari the RAT.”

Bari had recently accused a separate member of A$AP Mob of being a “fucking rat” and snitching on Rocky. Additionally, he got into a heated confrontation with Lil Uzi Vert back in April. Video of the incident made it way online afterward.

Denzel Curry also commented on Rocky’s new pictures; however, he did so in a more friendly manner.

“GIMISUM FAMILY,” he wrote.

Capella Grey Enlists Chlöe Bailey For “Gyalis (Shemix)

Capella Grey had the summer of 2021 on lock with his hit record, “Gyalis.” The catchy melodies that added tinges of dancehall with a sample of Juvenile’s “Back That Azz Up” transformed Capella Grey into one of the hottest new artists to emerge on the East Coast.

Since the song’s release, Capella Grey’s unveiled a handful of remixes while a flurry of covers have also dropped. Chlöe Bailey’s cover was easily one of the best. So even after nearly a year since the original song dropped, Capella Grey and Chlöe joined forces to release the official remix of “Gyalis,” which has been dubbed the “shemix.” Chlöe’s contributions to the record perfectly accompany Grey’s original record with an authentic woman’s perspective.

Check the song below.

Quotable Lyrics
I’ma be a, gyalis
The city is my palace, who I’ma choose?
‘Cause I want he and he and he
And they love them some me

Quinta Brunson Creator of ‘Abbott Elementary’ Shuts Down Followers Asking For School Shooting Episode

QUinta Brunson

Quintin Brunson went to social last week shortly after the school shooting tragedy in Uvalde, Texas and made it very clear to fans of ‘Abbot Elementary’, a fictional Philadelphia elementary school and the show she created and stars in, that there will not be an episode now and in the near future about school shootings  “I want people to understand the flaw in asking for something like this.” She stated. After the May 24th Shooting that killed 19 students and two teachers, Brunson said she was inundated with messages asking to incorporate a school shooting into “Abbott Elementary’ episodes after she Tweeted her thoughts on the school shootings saying “Sick to my stomach tonight over the love affair America has with guns. I read about gun violence often.  My city and family have been affected by it.  Gun violence is a constant, day after day problem.  Mass shootings are only part of it.  If you vote, demand more from the people you elected to change laws.” According to Brunson, multiple fans then asked for a school shooting episode of the show. She then went back to twitter stating “Wild how many people have asked for a school shooting episode of the show I write.  People are that deeply removed from demanding more from the politicians they’ve elected and are instead demanding ‘entertainment.’ I can’t ask ‘are y’all ok’  anymore because the answer is ‘no’,” wrote Brusnson on twitter,   She also shared an anonymous request from her fans and then replied asking her followers to “Please use that energy to ask your elected official to get on Beto time and nothing less,  I’m begging you.

There have been 27 school shooting in the US this year and 119 since 2018,  The second  season of Abbot Elementary will premiere this fall on ABC.

[WATCH] Cedric The Entertainer Talks Appearing On Jay-Z’s ‘Threat”

Screen Shot 2022 05 31 at 9.13.44 AM

JAY-Z’s 2003 The Black Album boasted a myriad of guest appearances. Still, one of the most memorable yet uncredited appearances was “King Of Comedy” Cedric The Entertainer in between Hov’s verses on “Threat.”

While a guest on  William “Fuzzy” West and Quincy Harris’ FAQ Podcast, the 58-year-old comedian explained how he talked his way into an appearance on the album after a chance meeting with Jay=Z in New York.

“It was random,” he said. “I was in there, watching him do his thing. The Black Album was his last album so I pitched him an idea. He was on his way out and I was like, ‘Yo man, I’ve been having this funny idea of doing the Beverly Hills Cop thing with you. He was like, ‘Oh, that’s funny. I like that. But I’m working on this song called ‘Threats’ that I need somebody just threatening people on.’ I was like, ‘Aiight!’ So then he left and it was me and [Young] Guru. I just went in there and freestyled that shit! Just was making it up, having a good time.”

Young Guru and the song’s producer, 9th Wonder, recall the recording session with Cederic The Entertainer, with Guru adding on social media, “@cedtheentertainer man we had a great time making that song,” he wrote. “First off I was super excited that @9thwonder had the possibility of making the album. @cedtheentertainer is really a ‘King of Comedy’ because he did at least 30 minutes of complete freestyle. That night was one for the books.”
