There wasn’t a concern in the room when Lil Wayne celebrated his birthday with a few of his friends days ago. It was said to have been a last-minute, impromptu meetup to honor the Rap icon for his big day, and while Nicki Minaj shaded her longtime friends for excluding her from the festivities, they still had a good time, sans their first lady.

However, Weezy still has some legal troubles haunting him, and according to Radar Online, the rapper is facing accusations that he won’t sit down for a deposition.

Ronald Sweeney, Wayne’s former attorney, is suing the rapper for $20 million. He claims that Wayne didn’t pay him his full commissions connected with certain business moves and he’s going after what he claims he is owed. Sweeney said he took over the role as Wayne’s manager after Cortez Bryant was reportedly fired.

Wayne was reportedly supposed to sit down for a deposition on August 24 but Sweeney made claims that the rapper didn’t show up. When asked to provide another date, Sweeney alleges that Wayne refuses to do so. Now, Sweeney has filed documents asking for the court to intervene and order the rapper to answer questions pertaining to the accusations against him.

The suit says Wayne “failed and refused to pay Plaintiffs his promised 10% of the recovery from lawsuits, 10% of the sale of master recordings owned by Lil Wayne’s record label, and then 17% in general commissions that he owes to Plaintiffs in connection with Plaintiff’s day to day management activities.”

Meanwhile, Wayne has fired off a lawsuit of his own. He claims that Sweeney never acted as his manager and had been “overcharging him for years.” According to Weezy, he’s dished out over $20 million to Sweeney and does not believe he should pay the attorney anything another penny.

She certainly knows a thing or two about twerking and Miley Cyrus took her talents to the stage during Megan Thee Stallion’s performance. The Houston rapper has been keeping busy by balancing her Fashion Nova partnership, festival line-ups, various appearances, and studio time. Earlier today (October 1), Megan kicked off her weekend by performing in front of thousands of screaming fans at the ACL Festival in her home state. The Austin, Texas event went on without a hitch, and Megan even received a surprise during her set.

The rapper was hyping up the crowd during her performance on “Do It On The Tip,” her 2020 single featuring City Girls. The fan favorite was well-received and then, Miley Cyrus made an appearance.

Miley strolled her way onto the stage and caught Megan off guard, but the Good News hitmaker was more than thrilled to see her friend. Immediately, Miley began twerking on Megan and the Houston Hottie stepped aside to give Cyrus a moment in the spotlight. Even Megan’s backup dancers were excited to see Cyrus and everyone gave hugs.

Once again, an alleged stalker has descended upon Kylie Jenner’s home. The reality star mogul is not a stranger to having random people show up at $40 million crib, but this time, TMZ reports that a man created a disturbance that frightened the entire neighborhood. Back in April, a man was arrested three times in one week, and in December 2020, a stalker known to patrol her neighborhood was taken into custody.

On Wednesday (September 29), authorities once again responded to Jenner’s home after someone reportedly appeared at her property.

According to TMZ, a man continued to call on the mogul’s security demanding to speak with Jenner. He was told to leave, and he seemingly did, only to return a short time later. Then, he created a disturbance by setting off fireworks in the street before jumping over her fence. Security quickly gave chase and responding officers were able to catch the man before he reached Kylie’s living quarters.

We’re told the suspect — a pretty big dude, around 6’4″ and 240 lbs. — carried a suitcase containing a hammer, rubber mallet, a lighter and fireworks. Cops say he did about $1,200 in damage to Kylie’s security gate … and they booked him for felony vandalism. He’s being held on $20,000 bail.

Jenner is seeking a restraining order against the man.

Another TikTok star has lost his life and the public has been debating the circumstances surrounding his death. Gabriel Salazar was a 19-year-old viral social media influencer who boasted nearly 2 million TikTok followers prior to his death, and that number has only steadily increased after this tragic news was shared. 

According to authorities in Texas, last Sunday (September 26), Salazar was driving a vehicle that housed three other people when officers attempted to pull the car over around 1:30 a.m. When the vehicle failed to stop, a chase ensued.

Authorities reportedly attempted to use a “tire deflation device” but it was said to be “unsuccessful” before news came over the radio that “the vehicle had rolled over and that it was fully engulfed in flames.” Sadly, Salazar and the passengers—Jose Luis Jimenez-Mora, 41, Jose Molina-Lara, 23, and Sergio Espinoza-Flores, 36—were all pronounced dead at the scene. The passengers were all described by authorities as being “illegal immigrants from Mexico.”

“In reference to the motor vehicle accident that occurred on Sunday September 26, 2021, we have been notified by Homeland Security Investigations that 3 out of the 4 males that died as a result of the accident were identified as illegal immigrants from Mexico,” the Sheriff’s Office stated.

Salazar’s family launched a GoFundMe crowd-sourcing campaign that earned tens of thousands of dollars in donations. “Gabriel loved his family and was always horsing around with her sister and little brother,” wrote the cammpaign’s organizer. “He was always there with a big hug and smile, and his family will never forget those warm moments. He was so funny with a quiet sense of humor and sarcasm.”

With the release of her new book has come several revelations from Tameka Foster. Her memoir, Here I Stand… in a Beautiful State, details her life’s journey through tragedy and triumphs. She candidly speaks about the untimely death of her 11-year-old son Kile Glover back in 2012, as well as sharing a bit about her marriage to Usher, a union that lasted from 2007 to 2009. The former couple shares two sons.

During a previous interview with Hollywood Unlocked, Foster revealed that she once caught Usher canoodling with another woman, and more recently, she told Page Six that those accusations of being a gold-digger are unfounded.

“The truth is, I really, really loved my husband,” said Foster. “It wasn’t bullsh*t. It wasn’t gold-digging. I always said that I took a pay cut when I married him.” Foster was Usher’s stylist, but she had also worked with the likes of Toni Braxton, Lauryn Hill, and Jay-Z. During her relationship with the award-winning singer, Foster felt the wrath of the public and was regularly ridiculed, especially by Wendy Williams.

“It hurt me really badly,” she added. “I think she really had pegged me wrong and she just ran with it; it was great clickbait. I was like low-hanging fruit for her to fight. And what I know about celebrities is…celebrities are always the person that’s favored. And I’m the underdog. I was a nobody, it’s easy to pick on me. I don’t have a big team that’s gonna be able to ever hit back.”

There were reportedly rumors about how much money Foster received in her divorce from Usher, and while she wouldn’t detail the number, she revealed that it wasn’t the millions that people accused her of being awarded. “Not very much money at all…less than a million dollars.”

As much as she would love to be enjoying the 2021 BET Hip Hop Awards with a few of her famous friends, Summer Walker was forced to sit this one out. The singer has quite the busy schedule between balancing motherhood, her new romance, and her career, and on Friday (October 1), Summer shared why she had to ditch this year’s award show.

In a clip she uploaded to Instagram, Walker is seen in a parking structure and said she was all ready to storm the red carpet.

“So, I was super excited to go to the BET Hip Hop Awards today, but they wouldn’t let me in due to COVID restrictions,” she claimed. “I had such a pretty dress and everything. It’s fine, BET love me, I still love BET.” She then revealed she had a big announcement she was planning on sharing on the red carpet.

“So, I decided to pull up anyway and let you guys know some things,” she continued, before showing a projected message on the side of a building that revealed her sophomore album would arrive next month. Fans quickly jumped into her comment section, pleading with the singer to tell them the exact date, but e’ll have to wait for that news.

LeBron James is gearing up for his 19th season in the NBA which means he is also coming out with his 19th signature sneaker, the Nike LeBron 19. This is a shoe that fans have been waiting on for a while now and after seeing it in Space Jam, there is no doubt that there is a lot of hype surrounding it.

After being teased online recently, we now have an official look at the Nike LeBron 19 in the “Bred” colorway. This model is based on an iconic color scheme that combines mostly black and some red. When these colors come together, you get a very clean shoe and it is something that is familiar to a whole host of people.

If you are a fan of these and hope to cop a pair, you will be able to do so as of Friday, October 22nd for a price that has yet to be determined. His controversial remarks about the Sandy Hook school shooting landed him in court, and Alex Jones is now suffering a legal loss. The Inforwars host has not been shy about sharing his thoughts and beliefs in conspiracy theories, but after he claimed that the tragic shooting at the elementary school never happened and was a hoax, parents took him to court.

In 2012, 20-year-old Adam Lanza visited the Connecticut school and opened fire, killing 26 people. Of the victims, 20 were children aged six and seven, while the others were staff.

Jones was hit with three defamation lawsuits, and this week, he was also hit with default judgments after a judge claimed he failed to turn over documents to the parents’ lawyers. According to NPR, “The cases now head to trial for juries to determine the amount of damages Jones and the other defendants will have to pay the families.”

 

“My clients have and continue to endure Defendants’ 5-year campaign of repulsive lies,” said attorney Bill Ogden. He is reportedly representing four parents in the Texas cases.  “We believe the Court hit this nail on the head when it considered Alex Jones’ and Infowars‘ ‘bad faith approach to this litigation,’ Mr. Jones’ ‘public threats,’ and Jones’ ‘professed belief that these proceedings are show trials.'”

Although Jones previously stated that the tragic incident was nothing more than actors playing out a school shooting, he has reportedly changed his tune and now believes the shooting was real.

Just a couple of years ago, the Jordan Legacy 312 was everywhere. This shoe was known for its collaborations with Don C, and the fact that it merged numerous Jumpman and Nike models together. Throughout 2018 and 2019, numerous colorways made their way to the market, and fans had a lot of different kicks to choose from whenever they went to the store. As soon as 2020 hit, things changed as the shoe just wasn’t getting the same play as it used to. Once COVID happened, the shoe was left in the corner, never to be heard from again, until now.

Thanks to some new official images from Nike, we now know that the Jordan Legacy 312 will be making a huge comeback in 2021 thanks to the colorway below. As you can see, this model has a white and navy blue base to it that also has black overlays on the upper and the toe strap. The Legacy 312 was always an interesting model and this new colorway reinforces why fans fell in love with the shoe, in the first place.
