CJ McCollum Speaks Out On Ben Simmons Situation Amid Rumors

Ben Simmons has been the talk of the NBA over the past few weeks due to his situation with the Philadelphia 76ers. There is no denying that Simmons wants out, and he doesn’t care how much money he could lose in the process. For now, there are various teams that could be well-suited for a Simmons trade, including the Portland Trail Blazers, who would likely give up CJ McCollum in such a deal.

While McCollum didn’t speak to this particular trade scenario directly, McCollum did talk about Simmons on the most recent episode of his “Pull Up With CJ McCollum” podcast. As he explains, Simmons is more than welcome to try and secure a trade. He also believes player empowerment is a net benefit and that Simmons is simply exercising his rights as a player.

“I think we have seen a shift in players becoming more vocal, but I think historically, players have always been vocal about their happiness with their role, their fit or potentially wanting out,” McCollum said. “This has been happening for a very, very long time. I think you have to look at that situation from a player empowerment standpoint, if he is kind of evaluating how he can be the best version of himself, he has a right to do that.”

The Simmons situation has proven to be a difficult one for the Sixers franchise, and it will only get messier as the weeks go on. Stay tuned to HNHH, as we will be sure to bring you all of the latest details related to the Simmons saga in Philly.

Lil Wayne & Rich The Kid Make It A Bloody Affair On “Bleedin'”

Let’s be honest — Lil Wayne has a poor track record of delivering anticipated collab albums. I Can’t Feel My Face with Juelz Santana is apparently still in the works, a decade after they initially announced it. T-Pain and Weezy’s T-Wayne album dropped in 2017, nearly eight years after the duo recorded the project. On top of that, fans have been hoping that Wayne and Drake would lock in for a Watch The Throne-type of project, though the possibilities of that happening seem incredibly slim.

Somehow, we managed to get a collaborative project with Lil Wayne and Rich The Kid. It wasn’t really a project anyone asked for but, we can’t really complain about getting new music from Weezy. On “Bleedin’,” the two rappers link up with MonstaBeatz and swap bars detailing their wealth and make that YMCMB x Rich Forever connection official.

Quotable Lyrics
That woman start jumpin, that pussy start thumpin’
That cookie start crumblin’, that shit been no dumpin’
I was lookin’ so scrumptious, I done gave the hoe the munchies
Say her hair was in the way so I gave the hoe my scrunchie

Zack Fox Returns With Hilarious Bars On New Song “fafo”

Zack Fox is one of the most beloved comedians on the internet and while he has had his fair share of Twitter bans, he always finds a way to return better than ever. In recent years, Fox has been releasing music and as you can imagine, his songs contain that signature humor that made him so famous. He knows how to craft some hilarious bars, and that ability is front and center on his new track called “fafo,” which is short for “fuck around and find out.”

In this song, Fox offers braggadocios lyrics with some funny quips that will have you rewinding the song to make sure that’s really what he just said. From Steven Universe references to kegel talk, there is certainly a lot to digest here. It’s yet another example of Fox’s talent shining through, and you can check out the song, below.

Quotable Lyrics:

Yeah, I’m back up on my bullshit, them beans got me geekin’
Throwing money on these strippers like they chickens getting seasoned (Salt)
I got bitches ‘cross the universe, I’m pimpin’ like I’m Steven (Eh)
She gon’ hit me with them kegels, almost made me have a seizure (Shake)

Meek Mill Puts It All On The Line On “Halo” Ft. Brent Faiyaz

It’s been nearly three years since Meek Mill delivered his chart-topping album, Championships. Though his focus has been going towards expanding his empire, including the Dream Chasers roster, and his work within prison reform, he’s been cookin’ up some sh*t this time around. The rapper’s unveiled several freestyles over the year as fans anticipate his next album. On Friday, he finally delivered.

Expensive Pain is 18 songs in total with a healthy balance of collabs and solo tracks. Meek does deliver some certified bangers but the rapper offers a few cuts that dive deep into his vulnerability. On “Halo,” he links up with Brent Faiyaz to close out the album. While Faiyaz’ angelic harmonies gloss over the production subtly, Meek opens up about the issues that he deals with behind closed doors and how much of it is bottled up. “Standin’ in the club, poppin’ bottles, sippin’ Ace/ Lookin’ at the people, lookin’ at me like I’m straight/ Knowin’ I’ve been goin’ through some shit that I don’t speak about,” he raps on the record.

Check out “Halo” below.

Quotable Lyrics
I say, “Young n***a rumble and stay humble through the fake shit”
All this money and bad bitches, I’m in the matrix
Tryna be successful and still fighting open cases
At times I get angry at God, like, “Why you take Nip?”

Joel Embiid Rips Ben Simmons For “Disrespectful” Tactics

Ben Simmons is currently holding out from the Philadelphia 76ers as he looks to be traded by the team that drafted him. Simmons is upset with the franchise and he doesn’t seem to care where he goes, as long as it is outside of Pennsylvania. This is certainly a damaging situation for the Sixers, especially to the players who still care about Ben. One of those men is Joel Embiid, who recently came out and gave his true feelings on the whole thing. Needless to say, Embiid isn’t happy with his soon-to-be-former teammate.

“The situation is disappointing, borderline kind of disrespectful to all the guys that are out here fighting for their lives,” Embiid admitted to reporters.

Embiid then went on to rip Simmons for being selfish, noting that the Sixers have always been built around Simmons and what he needs to be successful. Clearly, there is some resentment here and with Simmons holding out, Embiid can finally speak freely on the situation.

“I feel like our teams have been built, whether it’s the shooting need or stretch-5 and all that stuff, I feel like [Simmons] always had it here. And we still have it,” Embiid said. “Our teams have always been built around his needs.”

This saga continues to get messier, and it will only get more complicated as the weeks go on. With this in mind, stay tuned to HNHH for all of the latest updates.

Charlamagne Tha God Explains Regretting Floyd Mayweather Moment On “The Breakfast Club”

One of the greatest insults that people have brought up about Floyd Mayweather is regarding his literacy. 50 Cent helped popularize the news that Floyd Mayweather did not know how to read and it has become a staple when mocking and trolling the championship boxer. Charlamagne Tha God even added his voice to the controversy.

When Charlamagne sat down to speak with ABC News about his talk show venture, he was asked about his greatest regret. After stating that he has “a million of those,” Charlamagne shared the story regarding Mayweather.

“I remember when the Floyd Mayweather situation happened. Everybody was clowning Floyd about not being able to read,” said Charlamagne. “I remember when 50 Cent did his video about having him go on Jimmy Kimmel to read a Harry Potter book. I remember my producer at the time saying we had audio of Floyd reading. … I heard him. I told (my producer) that we were going on the radio with that right now.”

The producer, Angela Yee, DJ Envy, and others told Charlamagne not to do it. However, he did it anyway.

“I was like, ‘He’s got a fight to sell. We got a fight to sell. He’s trying to get people to tune in. We’re trying to get people to tune in,'” he recalled. “There was nothing to it other than I’m trying to beat all of these people to the punch, trying to get Floyd to come read. When I say immediately, I felt regret. I immediately felt bad.”

“Nobody pressed me. I didn’t get in no trouble. That was me as a man like, ‘That was (explicit) up.’ Especially when I started seeing all these people started hitting me up on social media saying it triggered (them). Someone told me that they used to get called in class to read. I didn’t realize there was so many people out there who had that struggle. That was definitely one of those moments of regret.

Over the years, Charlamagne has repeatedly stated that he was apologetic to Mayweather about this incident.

Ice-T Is Unfazed By People Who Criticize His Parenting: “I Don’t Pay Attention”

They may not be conventional parents, but Ice-T and his wife Coco Austin enjoy their lifestyle. The Rap icon and his model wife have been married for almost 20 years and they share a five-year-old daughter, Chanel. The proud parents often share images and videos showing their fun family moments, but they have also found themselves being ridiculed by the public over their parenting choices.

People have criticized them for allowing Chanel to continue to breastfeed and recently, Ice-T and Coco took even more hits when they showed off Chanel’s acrylic nails. In an interview, Ice-T seemed unbothered.

“Rule one on the internet, do not pay attention to anything anyone says on the internet,” Ice-T said during a visit to The View. “Worry about the people that walk up to you and say things in your real life. Those are the people you should be concerned with. The internet is the world, it’s the world talking. I don’t pay attention.”

“Everybody parents differently. Like I say, every house has its own constitution. We’re doing okay, our baby’s ok,” he continued. Later, he drove his point home. “I always love when people say, ‘They say.’ Who’s they? The internet? I don’t pay attention to the internet.”
