Polo G Drops New Album, “Hall Of Fame,” With Nicki Minaj, DaBaby & More: Fans React

New York rapper Polo G added to the list of new music released, Friday, by dropping his new album, Hall of Fame, a follow-up to his sophomore effort, The GOAT. Fans reacted to the new project, which features DaBaby, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, and more, on social media after its release.

Many had praise for the 20-track album, including DJ Scheme who simply said “Legendary all I gotta say,” while posting the project to his Twitter.

One standout track from the album appears to be “For the Love of New York,” which features Queens rapper, Nicki Minaj.

One fan tweeted: “Nicki Minaj & Polo G’s ‘For the Love of NY’ I didn’t know if id like it but I’m really in my feelings after a few listens. I love the song & now ima go cry because what !??? She really knows how to switch up the subject matter, dial back & tap into other energies.”

Polo’s girlfriend recently detailed how the rapper landed the legendary Minaj for the popular song.

Not all of the responses to Polo’s Hall of Fame were positive. One fan compared Polo’s performance to that of Paul George in the playoffs on the Clippers. “How good the new Polo G album is according to Twitter,” the fan wrote with a picture of George on the Pacers, followed up by “how good ‘Hall of Fame’ actually is,” with George on the Clippers.

Kodak Black Drops “Happy Birthday Kodak” EP With Yo Gotti, Jacquees, & More

Happy Birthday, Kodak! Florida’s own Project Baby celebrated his twenty-fourth birthday on Friday with the release of yet another quick-paced project, dropping Happy Birthday Kodak with four new songs and features from Yo Gotti, Jacquees, Lil Keed, and Rylo Rodriguez.

The new music comes a month after his most recent project Haitian Boy Kodak. The rapper takes a different approach for his birthday project, freestyling for much of the way and singing some catchy melodies along the way. It starts out with “Gleerious,” which celebrates the superstar’s Z Day perfectly. “Feelin’ Peachy” continues the flow before driving off into another direction and ending with the quasi posse cut “Amber Rolls.”

Listen to the full project below and let us know if you’re feeling it.

Tracklist:

1. Gleerious
2. Feelin’ Peachy
3. White Toes (feat. Jacquees)
4. Amber Rolls (feat. Rylo Rodriguez, Yo Gotti, & Lil Keed)

Bobby Sessions Drops Off His Debut Album “Manifest”

Dallas rapper Bobby Sessions has come through with his debut project Manifest, boldly guaranteeing it to be “the best album of 2021.” Given that it clocks in at a respectable twelve tracks with a non-invasive and well-selected number of guest appearances, he’s already off to a promising start. Including appearances from Rick Ross, Benny The Butcher, Freddie Gibbs, and Lecrae, the majority of the spotlight shines on Sessions, who makes the most of his time in the leading role.

Setting a luxurious tone with opening track “Penthouse Prayers,” Sessions trades bars with Ricky Rozay, holding his own alongside the longtime vet. Though ostensibly a newcomer to the game, it’s clear that Sessions has been honing his sound of a minute, to the point where he’s never outshone — not even when he’s gearing up for a posse cut with Benny The Butcher and Freddie Gibbs, both of whom have a reputation for dismantling fellow lyricists with friendly fire.

By and large, however, Manifest is Bobby Sessions’ show, and fans looking to discover what he brings to the table would be wise to let this one play out from start to finish. Should you do so, be sure to come back and share your thoughts and support in the comments below. What do you think of Manifest, and which songs do you feel stand out?

Migos’ “Culture III” Is Here Featuring Drake, Pop Smoke, & More: Fans React

After three years of anticipation, Migos have finally released  featuring some of the biggest names in music including Drake, Pop Smoke, Juice WRLD, Future, Justin Bieber, and more. In its wake, fans have celebrated on social media with tons of praise for the new album.

“I don’t know what I was expecting from Culture 3 but this shit is amazing Migos outdid themselves this is quality music,” one user wrote.

One track receiving tons of attention, in particular, is the second song on the tracklist, “Having Our Way.” Drake handles the chorus as well as the lengthy first verse.

“Migos let Drake rap for 2 whole minutes on their record, son was vexed,” one fan tweeted.

Another added: “Drake getting 2 mins on a Migos track, just confirmed his status as THE GOAT.”

Not all of the responses were positive. Some fans complained about the length of the project, which at 19 tracks, still came in shorter than their previous effort, Culture II.

“Culture III was too long but the best songs were the two last so it was almost okay,” one user explained. “I was mostly disappointed by the features. Both the polo and juice feature fell way short of my expectations. Overall decent project.”

Drake & Nicki Minaj Have A Rendez-Vous At Nicki’s House

Nicki Minaj and Drake go way back. The two superstar rappers rep the same crew, Young Money Entertainment, from which they rose under Lil Wayne’s tutelage. Since then, they’ve both gone on to have legendary careers, becoming some of the more revered artists of all time. When they were coming up, fans noticed that Drake and Nicki had chemistry in their videos and songs together and, naturally, fan fiction lovers created scenarios where the two ended up marrying each other and living happily ever after. That simulation never happened though as Nicki got married to her childhood friend Kenneth Petty, and Drake remains one of the most eligible bachelors in the world.

Last night, to celebrate the launch of Nicki’s latest feature on Polo G’s album, the Queen invited one of her oldest friends to her palace, enjoying some free time with Drizzy Drake and flicking up for the ‘Gram.

The two artists hung out in Nicki’s studio room, cheesing hard for the cameras as they danced to Minaj’s new music. People are delighted to see them together, commenting that they would have loved to witness a reality where they ended up living out the crazy fan fiction stories crafted years ago. Some fans are even warning Nicki’s husband in the comments, telling him to watch out for any sneaky activity from Drake.

Check out their videos and photos together below and let us know if you want them to team up for some new music soon.

Migos Drop Off Long-Awaited “Modern Day”

These days, a viral snippet can go a long way in sparking hype for a track. Prior to the release of Migos’ Culture 3, which arrived in full eighteen-song glory last night, many were keen on hearing the full version of “Modern Day,” mistakenly titled “Modern Day Stroll.” Fueled by a vengeful Quavo, who sounds notably focused on the album as a whole, the track seems to be a welcome return to the vintage Migos sound.

Produced by Murda Beatz, “Modern Day” finds all three Migos letting off hard-hitting bars in their own fashion; though they certainly tend to favor a few specific themes, they’ve certainly mastered their delivery of said themes. Opulent jewelry, high-fashion, fast cars, and deadly firearms — the Migos checklist, with all boxes ticked. As for landing on a standout, the trifecta tends to operate as a high-functioning unit, making it difficult to single out a single performer. One thing is certain — Offset, Quavo, and Takeoff continue to shine over Murda Beatz production, and “Modern Day” is an early standout from their new album.

Do you think this one lived up to the hype?

Pi’erre Bourne Releases New Album “The Life Of Pi’erre 5” Featuring Playboi Carti & Lil Uzi Vert

Pi’erre Bourne has come a long way since releasing The Life Of Pi’erre in September 2016. That year alone, he re-upped with two other full-length projects in the series before waiting a few years to release The Life Of Pi’erre 4. The 27-year-old producer/artist has spent much of the last few months teasing the fifth album in the pack, which has finally arrived by way of Interscope Records.

Featuring Playboi Carti, Lil Uzi Vert, and Sharc, The Life Of Pi’erre 5 is a bouncy project that highlights Pi’erre’s strong suits as a woozy beatmaker and rapper. The artist goes deeper into his personal life this time around, including a phone call with his grandmother as the introductory track and referencing his family multiple times throughout the album. Of course, this is packed to the brim with bangers too.

Bourne says that this will be the final installment in this album series. “The TLOP series has been a crazy ride,” he said. “I can’t wait for my fans to hear the album but I’m also hype to move onto the next chapter of my music.”

This comes following the release of the “Sossboy 2” single with Uzi, which popped up this week.

Kim Kardashian Finally Opens Up About Her Kanye West Divorce: ‘It’s The Little Things I Don’t Have’

As it related to Kanye West, last week’s episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians was a big one. In it, Kim Kardashian spoke as frankly as she ever had about her and West’s relationship troubles, saying that the situation made her feel like “a f*cking loser.” Last night was the series finale of the show, and during the episode, Kardashian spoke about why she decided to divorce West.

Speaking with Kris Jenner, Kardashian began:

“I just feel like I’ve worked so hard in life to achieve everything that I’ve wanted to, and I’ve lived up to my expectations and achieved ten times more than I even thought was humanly possible, but I don’t have a life to share that with. Like, I do — obviously my kids and everything — but am I just going to sit here and think, ‘OK, my kids fulfill me and I’m good?’

I never thought I was lonely. I always thought that’s totally fine: I could just have my kids, my husband moves from state to state, and I just am on this ride with him, and I was OK with that. And then after turning 40 this year, I realized, like, ‘No, I don’t want a husband that lives in a completely different state.’ To me, I thought, ‘Oh my god, that’s when we’re getting along the best,’ but then that is sad to me and that’s not what I want.”

She went on to talk about how while she appreciated all of West’s grand gestures, she doesn’t feel like their lives and interests had enough overlap:

“I want someone where we have the same shows in common. I want someone that wants to work out with me. Like, every single day, Khloé and Tristan and I would workout at 6 a.m., the three of us, and I was third-wheeling it for a good eight months in quarantine, and I was so envious of that. I was like, ‘Wow, it’s, like, the little things I don’t have.’ I have all the big things. I have the extravagant everything you can possibly imagine and no one will ever do it like that — I know that, and I’m grateful for those experiences — but I think I’m ready for the smaller experiences that I think will mean a lot.”

She concluded, “I’m numb. Like, I’m tired of that, but I do know that I will be happy. I didn’t come this far just to come this far and not be happy.”

Looking at Kardashian’s outfit in the scene and comparing it to an Instagram post, BuzzFeed News speculates the conversation was filmed in mid-January, about a month before Kardashian filed for divorce. However, Kardashian spoke about turning 40 years old “this year,” and her 40th birthday was on October 21, 2020. So, it’s also possible the chat took place in late 2020.
