Summer Walker Confronts Stranger Talking Trash About Her

She’s already sworn off interacting with the public after she received threats from trolls, and now Summer Walker has called out a woman she met while out and about. The singer recently shared a photo that showed her newborn with the baby’s face covered and soon, Summer was hit with accusations that her child was malnourished. People threatened to call Child Protective Services and Summer wasn’t having it, so she took to Instagram to share that she was cutting off taking photos and having casual chats with fans.

On Friday (May 28), Summer returned with a story of a recent interaction she had with a stranger. “[Crying laughing emoji] so . . why we got in line outside this lounge it’s supposed to be a 2 hr wait. These girls talkin bout that look like summer walker,” wrote the singer. “And dis fat b*tch gone randomly say she pretty but she don’t wear deodorant, twice, lmao.”

Kodak Black Offers Extended Live Performance Of New Song “Oracle”

Kodak Black came through with his latest album, Haitian Boy Kodak, just two weeks ago and it has consistently received praise from his day one fans. Kodak is an artist who has evolved over the years and with each new release, he looks to enhance his artistry and deliver something new. Kodak has also been known for packing his emotions into his music, which was evident on the track “Oracle.” While this song is just shy of three minutes long, the artist has now turned it into an 8-minute epic thanks to his latest music video for the track.

As you can see above, Kodak is performing the song in front of a purple backdrop. In the background, we have one man on percussion, while another gentleman plays an electric guitar. There is a slow intimate feel to this performance, all while Kodak raps in a lowkey manner all while pouring his emotions into each and every line. It’s a dope performance and if you’re a Kodak fan, this is definitely a must-watch.

Usher & Jenn Goicoechea Expecting 2nd Child: “Another One”

They just welcomed their daughter into the world not long ago, but Usher and Jenn Goicoechea are ready for Baby No. 2. The singer has been hard at work preparing for his Las Vegas residency and a subsequent album that’s on the horizon, but Usher and his leading lady continue to expand their family. It was just in September when Usher and Jenn shared that Baby Sovereign Bo was born, and eight months later, they’ve announced their good news.

Yesterday (May 27) at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, Jenn displayed her growing baby bump while on the red carpet. The couple’s latest addition will make Jenn’s second child and Usher’s fourth. He shares two sons, 12-year-old Naviyd and 13-year-old Usher V with ex-wife Tameka Foster.

Prior to delivering his news, Usher chatted with Extra earlier this week and explained the meaning behind his baby girl’s name. “So, Sovereign, man, is such a beautiful word and name to me, you know, a supreme ruler is obviously the defined name,” said the singer. “She’s definitely ruling the household, but Sovereign Bo — Bo is at the end of it, so [she’s] my little ‘reign-bo.'”

Smoove’L Displays Immense Confidence On Energetic New Single “GRIME”

Brooklyn artist Smoove’L has been making big moves over the last couple of years and fans have been eager to hear whatever he has in store for them. The Brooklyn drill movement continues to thrive and Smoove’L’s sound is one that resonates with younger listeners. These last few months have been a beacon of consistency for the artist and on Friday, he dropped a brand new track called “GRIME.”

With this track, the beat and the lyrics certainly help make this song live up to its name. Right from the get-go, Smoove’L gets unapologetically braggadocios and he doesn’t seem to mind if he offends anyone. From there, the artist talks that talk and it makes for one of those signature Brooklyn drill tracks that will make you want to get in the gym.

Check out the track below and let us know what you think, in the comments section.

Quotable Lyrics:

I go dumb on you bitches, facts (Facts)
I ain’t got feelings for none of you bitchеs (For none of you bitches)
That’s word to my mother, I’ma get it (I’ma get it, facts)
And all of that fuck shit, I’m with it (I’m with it, [?])

Jayson Tatum Responds To Kyrie Irving’s Racism Remarks

Kyrie Irving is making his return to Boston tonight and there are fears that the fans could be less than welcoming towards him. The Celtics fanbase has had a bad reputation in the past and this rep extends to other sports like baseball, hockey, and football as well. In fact, Kyrie touched on this reputation ahead of tonight’s game, noting that he hopes the fans don’t resort to any sort of racist remarks.

Celtics star Marcus Smart admitted that he’s heard racism from Celtics fans in the past and that it makes it hard to play for those supporters. During an episode of The Jump today, Jayson Tatum was asked about Kyrie’s statement, and the Celtics superstar gave a measured response. Essentially, Tatum has not been a victim of said racism although he knows what Kyrie means and he just wants everyone to be respectful.

“Everyone is expected to act a certain way whether you’re on the court or not. I understood what he was saying and trying to keep it about basketball,” Tatum said before revealing if he’s had racist comments directed at him. “Not towards me. Everybody has different experiences. It’s something that shouldn’t be tolerated in any arena.”

Hopefully, the Celtics faithful are on their best behavior tonight, as no one wants to see any player disrespected in such an awful way.

Run The Jewels & Noname Among 600+ Musicians Calling For Israel Boycott

Following the United Nations Human Rights Council’s announcement that it would launch an international investigation into the recent 11-day Israel-Palestine crisis to determine whether Israel and Hamas were guilty of war crimes, a vast amount of artists within the music industry have decided to boycott Israel and refrain from performing in the Middle Eastern country in support of Palestine.

A Palestinian flag is waved during a Rally on May 22, 2021 in Melbourne, Australia. Rallies were organised across Australia to protest against the recent violence in Israel and the Gaza strip. A ceasefire between Israel and Hamas in Gaza started on Friday, following 11 days of rocket attacks.

As official authorities dedicated resources to the Israel-Palestine crisis, Nicolas Jaar and Iraqi-Canadian rapper Narcy have organized #MusiciansForPalestineand they have already gathered support from some of the biggest acts in the music industry.

According to Complex, the list of over 600 musicians who signed the letter includes musicians such as Run the Jewels, Talib Kweli, Noname, Rage Against the Machine, Questlove, Black Thought, Bun B, Roger Waters of Pink Floyd, Majid Jordan, A-Trak, Cypress Hill, Digable Planets, Belly, and Julian Casablancas of the Strokes, among countless others.

In addition the Israel boycott, #MusiciansForPalestine have also issued the following statement:

In solidarity and empathy, as musicians, we cannot be silent. We are calling on our peers to publicly assert their solidarity with the Palestinian people. Complicity with Israeli war crimes is found in silence, and today silence is not an option. Silence is not an option as the brutal Israeli bombardment of besieged Gaza claimed more than 245 lives in the last weeks.

Today, we speak together and demand justice, dignity, and the right to self-determination for the Palestinian people and all who are fighting colonial dispossession and violence across the planet. We call for you to join us with your name in refusing to perform at Israel’s complicit cultural institutions, and by standing firm in your support of the Palestinian people and their human right to soverignty and freedom. We believe this is crucial to one day live in a world without segregation and apartheid. Free Palestine.”

Serge Ibaka’s Injury Status Updated Ahead Of Pivotal Game 3

Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks came into their first-round matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers as underdogs. In the first two games, the team was able to flip that script as they came away with huge wins in Los Angeles. Now, the Mavericks are coming home with a 2-0 series lead, and NBA fans are hoping that the Mavericks can pull off the upset. As for the Clippers, they need all hands on deck to mount a comeback, and players like Serge Ibaka are crucial for such a run.

Unfortunately, Ibaka won’t be playing tonight as he is suffering from a back problem, according to Yahoo! Sports. Clippers fans have been clamoring for Ty Lue to give Ibaka more playing time and tonight could have been that opportunity. Now, the Clippers will have to operate without one of their best defensive players.

Throughout the series, the Clippers’ star players have been solid however it simply hasn’t been enough for the team to get any wins. With Lue facing criticism from pundits and fans alike, it will be interesting to see how he finesses lineup considering he is down a man.

If you want to watch Game 3, it will take place tonight at 9:30 PM EST.

Nicki Minaj Throws LeBron An Alley Oop Following His Rap Mount Rushmore Hot Take

One of the latest online Hip-Hop debates has gained a lot of traction over the past couple of days, and as a result, the discussion surrounding who would make the cut for a hypothetical rap Mount Rushmore has transitioned from simple Twitter fodder to an ongoing media story. For those unfamiliar with the tweet that prompted responses from celebrities like LeBron James and Nicki Minaj, see below.

The viral tweet that creatively positioned Drake, Kendrick Lamar, and J. Cole on the Mount Rushmore of 2010s Hip-Hop has so far earned itself 8.9k retweets, 2.7k replies, and 5.7k likes. However, it’s the celebrity responses that have made the debate even more exciting. Yesterday, Nicki Minaj commented on the original tweet with a vague “wow,” and today, LeBron James dove head-first into the debate and declared that the final spot was owed to none other than Future Hendrix.

LeBron’s hot take was enough to send Twitter Hip-Hop enthusiasts into a tizzy, and surprisingly, it even inspired a response from Nicki. “Never thought I’d get the opportunity to give you the alley oop,” the Beam Me Up Scotty rapper jokes before officially claiming the last spot as her own. “But you almost had it. It’s N I C K I…EMMMM I N A J!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

While Nicki’s reply to LeBron is comical in tone, there is plenty of legitimacy in her claim that she deserves to be one of the four greatest rappers from the previous decade. All four of her albums have landed within the top 10 spots on the Billboard 200, and both her debut and sophomore albums reached the number one position. In that same time frame, Nicki racked up the vast majority of her 118 Billboard Hot 100 hits. Furthermore, Nicki has also inspired an entire generation of female rappers, so it would be hard to justify leaving her off of this highly contentious 2010s Mount Rushmore.

With that said, which four artists do you think deserve to be on the hypothetical 2010s rap monument?
