Ice Spice Performs At Fanatics Super Bowl Party, Gets Roasted By Michael Blackson

Michael Blackson was concerned and unimpressed by Ice Spice’s performance at Michael Rubin’s Fanatics Super Bowl party. “Tell The frozen spice girl to stop singing to me, I have a dashiki that’s older than her,” Blackson wrote on Instagram. He also included footage of Spice rapping and twerking, turning the camera to capture his concerned expression. Many fans were quick to skewer Spice in the comments too. “So she’s a stripper with a microphone. Got it,” one hater said. “Imagine your music being so trash you have to show your nakedness so we can forget that your music is trash 🗑,” concurred another.

Other performers at the event included Travis Scott and Quavo. The event is an annual traditional hosted by Rubin. It all leads up to Super Bowl LVIII. The Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers face off later today. The event will also feature a Halftime Show headlined by Usher. Furthermore, the 49ers enter the game as very slight favorites, but the game is expected to be close.

Ice Spice Debuts Starry Super Bowl Ad

The full Starry’s Super Bowl ad featuring Ice Spice has finally dropped. In the ad, Spice is being rizzed up the soda brand’s two animated mascots when her “ex-boyfriend” shows up to try and win back the rapper. When she rejects him, the man’s head horrifyingly explodes in a fountain of soda. Titled “It’s Time To See Other Sodas”, the ad dropped on February 2. However, contrary to the belief of some gossip sites, the ad did not reveal any details of the rapper’s actual love life.

However, it’s not Spice’s first food and drink advertising collab. Before she was doing Super Bowl ads, she was appearing in Dunkin commercials. Last year, Spice teamed up with Ben Affleck to promote her limited-time signature drink at the coffee chain. The first ad for the Ice Spice Munchkins Drink dropped during the VMAs on September 12. In something of a meta advertisement, Spice and certified Boston Boy Ben Affleck tried to come up with names for her signature drink. It’s a fun little spot with Affleck turning his Southie accent up to 11 while an unimpressed Spice serves as his straight woman.

Michael Blackson Shades Katt Williams After Viral “Club Shay Shay” Interview

Michael Blackson took to social media to comment on Katt Williams after the latter’s Club Shay Shay interview took over the internet on January 3. “Katt Williams is a very smart m-dget n–ga, he took shots at the top 10 comedians alive today so we can all respond and make him relevant again,” Blackson wrote on X. He later clarified that he believed Williams was a “top 10 comedian of all time” but also noted that “he’s not the Katt Williams of 2005”.

Of course, Blackson and Williams are long-time rivals. However, Williams’ interview with Shannon Sharpe did present a broadside of attacks. Williams had thoughts on Cedric The Entertainer and Steve Harvey, as well as major music figures such as Diddy and Kanye. For the most part, Sharpe was happy to sit back and let Williams rant, throwing in the occasional interjection.

Katt Williams Takes Shots At Ricky Smiley & Harvey Weinstein

Two more of Williams’ targets included Rickey Smiley and Harvey Weinstein. Williams told Sharpe that he found Smiley “so egregious” that he added a rider to his own contract that Smiley would have to wear a dress if the pair worked together again. When their next project together, First Sunday, rolled around, the producers made sure to fulfill Williams’ contractual demand and put Smiley in a dress. Furthermore, Williams noted that Smiley and Tyler Perry “can’t play a man to save their life”. He used this line as justification for why he demanded Smiley be put in a dress.

Meanwhile, Williams also claimed that Harvey Weinstein had offered to “suck my p-nis in front of all my people at my agency. I don’t know what do to. I’m thinking I’m the only Black person in the script. But then I get there and there are three other Black guys. And I’m thinking, I told him no so what did y’all do to get here? That’s why when I walk in the room, heads go down. Behind my back, I’m nothing. But to my face? The king has walked in. They know I don’t take no shortcuts. She stepped out in a shimmering silver gown, perfectly in line with the theme of her world tour. Unfortunately, however, the look has managed to spark some controversy. Some social media users are theorizing that Bey snatched her style from Kim Kardashian. A few critics are even accusing her of whitening her skin for the premiere. TMZ recently caught up with Michael Blackson at an airport to ask him his thoughts on the debacle, and he’s not buying critics’ claims.

According to him, Beyonce probably only switched over to platinum so Jay-Z can feel like he’s mixing things up in the bedroom. He went on to say that every man is looking for variety when it comes to his sex life, so the songstress is simply offering him “another woman.” He added that he’s sure that Beyonce is proud of her Blackness, brushing off any skin-bleaching rumors.

A plethora of sexual assault allegations have come out in recent days against a variety of different figures. Diddy, for one, was hit with a lawsuit from his ex Cassie last week. The suit arrived with a long list of damning accusations. She accused the Bad Boy Records founder of rape, physical and emotional abuse, and more. The lawsuits didn’t stop there, however. Yesterday, Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose was also sued by former Penthouse model Sheila Kennedy, who alleges that he raped her in the late 80s. Cuba Gooding Jr., Jamie Foxx, NYC Mayor Eric Adams, Jimmy Iovine, and more have also been sued for alleged sexual assault in the past week.

It’s believed that the influx of sexual assault lawsuits is due to New York’s Adult Survivors Act deadline arriving today (November 23). Comedian Michael Blackson has another theory, however. He took to social media earlier today to comment on the array of sexual assault lawsuits popping up online lately, claiming that someone must have “p*ssed off” some very powerful people.

Michael Blackson Thinks Some Very Powerful People Are “P*ssed Off”

“It’s Thanksgiving and all I see on my timeline is sexual assault lawsuits smh,” he wrote, “Who the hell p*ssed off illuminati?” The Adult Survivors Act was signed into law in May of 2022. It aimed to provide victims with an opportunity at justice, lifting the typical time limit to sue for sexual assault. As many as 2,600 claims have been filed under the act since, giving countless survivors a chance to heal.

Laurie Maldonado, who was allegedly abused by gynecologist Robert Hadden in 2012, spoke to The Post about the policy. During a recent interview with DJ Vlad, the Next Friday star got very candid on the status of his wedding date, among other things. Despite being engaged to Rada Darling for nearly two years, the comedian still thinks there is time to wait. “I wanted to set a date, but then it’s like I got so overwhelmed with so much other things [that] has to do with my career.”

He continued: “I just felt like I needed to get things in place before I make this big step…Sometimes you need more time. You want to be really, really, set with everything before you make that step. Michael Blackson, as a comedian, is known for giving witty commentary. So it’s no surprise that when TMZ pulled on him, he had some funny remarks regarding Nick Cannon’s ever-growing family. While out and about in West Hollywood, the Next Friday star joked that Nick Cannon needs to work on his pull-out game. In the past few years, the Wild ‘n Out creator has made headlines over having multiple children with multiple women. He welcomed his 12th child, Halo Marie Cannon, with Alyssa Scott last December.

The comedian was asked if agreed with 50 Cent’s recent statements in a Forbes interview about the 42-year-old mogul. “I don’t want the responsibility of that many women that you got to deal with emotionally, especially after they don’t feel like your friend anymore. That’s too much,” 50 Cent said. Blackson seems to share a similar sentiment. “His pull-out game is as good as Joe Biden’s immune system,” he said.

Michael Blackson Also Comments On Afrobeats’ Growing Popularity

I can’t wait.” The reporter highlighted the possibility that individuals could be overly critical. However, in Blackson’s opinion, he now has a “lifetime’s worth” of material thanks to Nick Cannon. Blackson was also asked about the state of Afrobeats’ growing popularity and if it’s replacing Hip Hop. “It’s not killing Hip Hop, it’s just taking over. Everybody gets their turn. Additionally, he was asked if he considered making his Afrobeat-inspired track. He admitted that although he has made some songs, he’s better off entertaining people on stage. Still, Blackson has shown he can be serious when necessary. When he and Katt Williams were beefing last fall, the comedian and actor called him out on social media.“Life is too short to be beefing, especially with people you love. I love every comedian like a brother, sometimes we say things about each other, and it comes out the wrong way, but we don’t mean no harm.”

Michael Blackson Dismisses Desiigner’s Mental Health Claim After Being Arrested for Inflight Masturbation: ‘You Was Horny’

Michael Blackson isn’t trying to hear Desiigner call his recent airline issue mental health.

In case you missed it, Desiigner faces charges after exposing himself on an airplane. The rapper has been charged with indecent exposure after pulling out his penis and masturbating in first class on a Delta Airlines flight.

According to TMZ, legal docs state Desiigner would not stop masturbating despite repeated asks from flight attendants. He was eventually moved to the back of the plane and was cared for by two friends. When Desiigner stood up, a jar of Vaseline dropped into the aisle.

But Desiigner had an explanation for himself. Once he was with authorities in Minnesota, the rapper said he “didn’t really get much…cootie” during his Japan visit and was “brick hard” during his flight. In addition, Desiigner also said a flight attendant turned him on, and by flashing her, he thought it would provide “encouragement.”

Desiigner was stated not to have been under the influence. In a statement after the trip, he wrote about a mental illness.

Michael Blackson Opens “Free For All” School In Ghana

When he hasn’t been making audience’s laugh over the last couple of years, Michael Blackson has been working to open a school in his hometown of Agona Nsaba, Ghana. Well, his hard work has finally come to fruition, and his “Free For All” school is set to open this month.

Named the “Michael Blackson Academy,” the school is three stories high and has multiple classrooms and other amenities. The school completes Blackson’s mission of providing free education to the people in his hometown of Nsaba.

Ghanaian-American comedian took to social media where he shared a video of himself and others visiting the ribbon cutting for the finished school.

“Today is the greatest day of my life because I’ve finally accomplished what I always wanted to do which is giving these kids a chance to be great,” he captioned the post. “Greatness starts with education and foundational education shouldn’t come with financial barriers.”

Blackson started this project back in 2020 when he cut the sod for the construction of the building. He announced on his Twitter on December 18th that the building had been completed.

“Finally it’s all done and the kids in my village will all go to school for free. Thanks to all my fans that supported me thru out the years, every ticket you bought to my show helped a kid,” Blackson wrote.
