FLEE Drops Deluxe Edition of Acclaimed Project 'GHOST'

Fresh from his notable appearance on Brent Faiyaz’s surprise album, Larger Than Life, FLEE, the Queens, New York representative, unveils the deluxe edition of his acclaimed project, GHOST. This deluxe release features eight additional tracks, building on the success of the original 16-track project produced by Surf Gang’s Evil Giane, Snapz, MexikoDro, and NatCarlos.

GHOST (DELUXE EDITION) further solidifies FLEE’s impact on the rapidly growing underground rap scene. His distinctive flow harmonizes seamlessly with the lively production, a trademark of his frequent collaborator, established producer/artist Cash Cobain. The project highlights their unique sound that originated as a NYC secret but has now found its way into the mainstream, with Cobain securing a placement on Drake’s record-breaking album, “For All The Dogs.”

Notable tracks like “BUBBLE GREEN” and “LAST 4OUR” contribute to the expansion of the foundation laid by the original project. FLEE reaches new heights with the single “FTS,” complemented by a video featuring King Combs. FLEE’s infectious hooks and Instagram-caption-worthy lyrics further solidify his position as a key player in New York’s resurgence to reclaim the throne as the epicenter of hip-hop.

Summrs Displays Insane Flows On New Album “Ghost”

When it comes to the underground hip-hop world, there are plenty of great artists out right now. Overall, it almost feels like it is almost impossible to know where to start. However, Summrs is certainly a great artist to get into if you like the pluggnb sound. In fact, many say that Summrs is a pioneer within that space. Although mainstream audiences have yet to hear his music, it seems like he has a propensity for going viral. Moreover, he has some truly incredible producers behind him, which certainly helps his case.

As it stands, Yeat is one of the biggest artists in the underground and is on the precipice of becoming a household name. Subsequently, you can probably guess what kind of sound Summrs possesses. He is known for melodies, wild flows, and some great vibes. All of which he brings to his latest project, Ghost.

Summrs Delivers 21 New Songs

On this project, Summrs provides fans with 21 new songs and about 50 minutes worth of music. What makes this especially impressive as he mostly handles this project by himself. The Museum Of Graffiti To Exhibit ‘GHOST: Bits and Pieces’

The Museum of Graffiti is pleased to announce Bits and Pieces, a solo exhibition of new works by GHOST, the New York graffiti artist. The exhibition opens on May 19, 2022 and will be on view through mid-July 2022.

Bits and Pieces is Ghost’s first solo show at the Museum of Graffiti. The new works are an explosion of colors and imagery that melt into his rounded his unique graffiti letterforms. Ghost’s work contains hundreds of elements from his fantastic imagination where viewers are transported into a psychedelic world where letters come to life. “One of the highest compliments I get is that people say they feel like they took acid without taking acid. I like to take people on a trip. The more they look into the art, the more they discover my world,” states Ghost. His paintings are like eye candy to the artist who unlike many of the graffiti artists working in the streets wants his work to be accessible to the public. He adds, “I want people to get drawn in. Layers and depth are important for me to create a situation where people can spend time with my pieces. People want to walk into them and get into the art. To me that’s what makes my painting successful – when people want to walk into it. I don’t intend to do this but it just happens that way. For the most part it has been accidental discoveries during the process of painting and challenging myself.”

The new paintings include works that are reminiscent of the 1980s when he was adorning New York City’s subway trains with his original and improvised style of graffiti lettering and characters. Ghost was one of the last kings of the New York City train graffiti era. Today, he approaches his paintings with the same zest and casual grace as he does his train work, with bold explosions of colors and wild cartoons.

Justin Bieber Returns To The MTV VMAs To Perform ‘Stay’ With The Kid Laroi And ‘Ghost’

The Kid Laroi and Justin Bieber delivered one of the year’s biggest hit songs with their second overall collaboration, “Stay.” The track is one that appeared on a recent deluxe reissue of Laroi’s F*ck Love project, one that recently topped the Billboard album charts. As for “Stay,” the track itself as also found success on the charts as it spent four consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. With these achievements, it’s only right that the singers brought the song to the 2021 MTV VMAs stage and that’s exactly what they did on Sunday night.

Laroi and Bieber delivered what appeared to be a space-themed performance for their No. 1 song as they stood atop a larger makeshift boulder that stood in front of a bright backdrop filled with neon colors. In addition to “Stay,” Bieber would take control of the stage to perform “Ghost” from his sixth album Justice. The project spent two non-consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the albums chart and “Ghost” is looking to be the singer’s next popular cut from the album.

When Laroi’s “Stay” reached No. 1 on the singles chart, it became the first song by an Australian-born solo male artist to top the Hot 100 in 40 years, following Rick Springfield’s “Jessie’s Girl.” He’s also the first Australian-born artist to reach No. 1 with a song since Sia did it with her and Sean Paul’s “Cheap Thrills” back in 2016. As for Bieber, he recently announced his Our World documentary which will recount his “intense and exciting” return to music.

You can watch Bieber and Laroi’s performance in the video above.
